I don't believe it's the same note. Based on the strain I can hear in her voice she can't go any higher so if it is lower that's probably why. Sarah Brightman is known for her range and the part was written for her. I doubt it's for their own "signature" although that is a possibility I find it doubtful since that's the only note (that I can hear) that's any different and it's known as nearly impossible to hit.

They probably want to leave their own special signature on the song.

the last note usually is pre-recorded due to vocal demand night after night, but because Phantom 25th at Albert Hall ran only 2 nights, I'm not sure that it was pre-recorded or not. Still an amazing performance regardless!

Why it seems that the final note hit by Sierra is a bit lower than that by Sarah? Are they singing the same note or the variety is just due the difference in vocal quality of the two artists?

@WillMasterke I agree....Sierra just lacks the very delicate quality I like in my Christine's. Joj IS the Phantom though. ^^

They are right up there with Michael and Sarah. And who cares if the high note is recorded? They need to protect their voices from a career-ending injury. My dream is a video of these two doing the definitive POTO video. That RAH extravaganza didn't do it for me.

@titanicfinatic In all the Phantom productions, the High E6 is always recorded, as it was done in the early days of the production to protect the actresses voices. So it was a tradition that was carried on
