This performance is what put them on the mind map. Couldn't have been fired from a browner cannon, Scott was the cosmic opposite of someone who'd surfed a butthole, and it showed

I saw them in the UK on this tour. There was one cancelled gig in Harrow (they backed out of it due to fake promises from the promoter, but we met and talked to them, a little bit of souncheck too), another in a small club in Manchester, maybe 50 people in attendance, then at the Ambulance Station in London. I also saw them later when they were more popular, 86 and 87 probably, plus also 89 at Reading when it was pretty much a different thing altogether. But these first shows, with Kramer on bass too, were the standouts for me. This is just how I remember that Manchester gig. I still have a couple of flyers too.

I was 13 in 84. I first heard these guys in 89. I can say with confidence that no one was making music like this then.

I'm glad to see everyone enjoying this still, thanks to who ever uploaded this. Too bad we don't all live close to each other because I'm betting there's drunmers here and a guitarists/bassists who would be down to start a cover band.
