There a 60 songs, for the Yei Bei Chei. Why I know cause my family, and elders and my grandparents know these. Keep searching, and research for more of this.

First girl yellow cape will always be one of my fav dancers. Dances so beautifully with grace and from the heart. when ever I see the painting of Hopi butterfly dancer I think if this her. Job well done the energy of this day is still felt even years later!

Thank you for including me on First Mesa 30 years ago. Although I am not part of the Hopi Nation, I was honored that the Hopi Nation allowed me to walk and honor the ceremony so long ago.

I am taking a "Music as a world phenomenon" course. The chapter we are currently on focuses on Native American music, with the focus mainly on the Navajo. Something about this song just soothes my soul and provides me with a feeling of calm and stillness. Beautiful!

Thank you to the Hopi Nation for sharing these songs, they fill me when I am low and stay in my head all day long, and the way the wind swirls around me when I'm working and these songs play in my head cools me down and lifts my spirit. Thank you for sharing Hopi Nation!!!!!!!

"Shut off your recorders and dont take pictures. Please respect the singers and their songs." In Northern Nevada, I hear this announcement given to all the people, Natives and Non-native. My Family attended the sacred Pinenut prayer and dance, the Bear dances, Flag song ceremony, and Social dances. THis was not Powwow. I'm 71 y.o. now and the rule still stands. I understand both sides of this controversy. Thnx

First time I was away from home for college I missed going to the fair to see these guys. I was so home sick because I missed all the smells and sounds from home. At this point I was attending a military junior college that had very little Native American students attending but many others came from all over the world. I played this out once the right season came along and I was so happy to have a piece of home.
