I would love to know who thought of recording this song and people’s memories of hearing it for the first time. It is missing from modern 2000 and after hymnals yet it is so life-affirming!

Hi, I am wondering if you would be willing to give permission for this to be used in recorded worship in the UK? Obviously we would use appropriate copyright licence for the words and music, but we would still need your permission for this particular recording.

We are honored that you would like to use our recording, and we are grateful that you asked. We are glad to grant you permission to use the recording. If it is practical, please credit the Old Sloop Virtual Choir and Quenton Hurst, bass. It might interest you to know that Quenton is pursuing his Master's at St. Andrews and that his sister Gillian, a member of the choir and frequent soprano soloist, got her Master's at St. Andrews and is pursuing her Doctorate at Bristol University. - Geof Lyon, for the First Congregational Church of Rockport, Massachusetts, USA, aka the "Old Sloop".
