rusty since you dont have comments on your boat vid i put it here....on a small flat bottom boat you dont need trim tabs and spray rails etc etc...your transom is running too verticle meaning you are burying your bow into the water causing spray and slowing you down....use the engine tilt as you plane when accellerating. tilt the engine up after planing and keep tilting it to find the sweet spot of spray and speed...you should run around 40mph plus if you were hitting 35 with the bow buried like that
