Hi sorry for delay in coming back... I'm going to do a review on the saddlebags too so if you subscribe you'll get notification when it's live. They are a SW-Motech cargobag 50l and excellent, easy to fit and load and work really well without the need for a pannier rack.

I believe you have to make a slit in the lining, naturally breaks the semi waterproof ness of the bag which is a bit of a design flaw.

Stock tyres are fine on clean tarmac... but I guess tgats the same with all pure road tyres.. never had a problem with them!!

Hi Jacob, can;t really comment as not had the opportunity to ride the lxr - certainly wouldn't mind a test ride on it though if Lexmoto are listening :) .. I would say they are 2 different styles of bike though.

Technically I believe it should be upright on the front forks, it came out of the main dealers like that and I think you would be hard pushed to be challenged on it - but belt and braces put one clipped to one of the front forks!!

Yeah it’s legally supposed to be mounted sticking out on the side of the fork. I wrapped mine around the upper fork leg. Never had an issue and was allowed to redo my CBT like that by/with an ex police rider.

I'm 6'1" and it was perfect... best go and have a sit in one. Best of luck and safe riding 👍

Ordered a 2022 model (red) back in August. This bike will be delivered March or April next year. For an old man, the Honda seems to be a little boring compared to the Svartpilen. After having had five Honda cars, I hope to get the same reliability and hope to enjoy the built quality of this bike for years to come.

The '21 model has an upgraded engine which is euro 5 compliant and delivers a bit more power and also the change in the front forks to the 41mm Showa Upside Down system. Hope that helps...

I think you might struggle. I would be surprised if you could flat foot it. I am 1.75m and wouldn’t want anything higher. Best to try to not only sit on one but move it around while sitting to see if you can balance it.

Hi Zontes by far. Feels so much more substantial due to 20 L tanks and longer wheelbase. Honda is a very good bike so both great for those looking at 125s

@@denisg4288 thanks for getting back to me mate. I prefer the look of the zontes but was worried about reliability. The zonte here is 3500 and the cb125r is 4400 but I was thinking the Honda will hold its price better after 3 years. Hard to know what to do 😆 lol

@@stephenkillen4842 I think the Zontes is probably the best of the Chinese bikes and build quality is almost on a par with the Japanese ones. Have a look at the review Mark Pulling did on it. Honda will probably hold the price better but if you ACF50 and maintain neither should have issues. My dilemma is if I pass my DAS, do I go for the Street Twin or Moto Guzzi V7 Stone🤔

I've heard if goes into gear a but easier if you let out the clutch to spin up the box before pulling it back in and rotating the shifter.

@@motoadvuk1104 yes that's my plan. I don't fancy doing a cbt every 2 years so once I have enough experience I'll go for the full licence

@@motoadvuk1104 it makes perfect sense plus the cbt fees will rise year on year so it's best to get the experience then just go for it

@@motoadvuk1104 Hello again, well I've bit the bullet and just bought a second hand 1 year old bike identical to yours same colour too! CBT is on Tuesday and I'm looking forward to it! Quick noob question. My bike got delivered today and after work I had a look over it. Is it normal when you turn the headlight switch into position 2 for the full beam to come on and light up blue on the dashboard like the car? It doesn't flash when when in this position but you can flash the headlight in position 1? Is this normal or am I just being a complete noob lol. Cheers, Sean

@@BMCWorkshop high sean well done mate, you'll love it. Yes the blue full beam light in effect will stay on.. I've got some news, hopefully coming soon as ive passed my cat A license hence why there has been no new vids... the Honda CB125R is a fantastic bike in every way in my opinion and solidly built. Enjoy and ride safe.

Guess everyones preference and feel for a bike will be different, I'm certainly not disappointed. I'm 6ft and is perfect, smaller riders would be fine too.
