This was literally 10 years ago, but I’m just watching this now as a freshman going into speech debate. I’m doing duos and DI. And so far I’ve had one competition and I made it all the way through the finals in both! I watch this video to help me figure out where to find my Scripts thank you!

Great video. However, I urge high schools to follow the lead of James Logan HS where they are pulling from college and removing some of the clicking and overly Jerky pops, especially in drama and duo, and they win doing that, it's time for high school to do those transitions in a less jarring manner. I get it, it's a think in hs, so then people believe it's the way these pieces must be done, but some schools have shown you the way, how to win without this. Likely you may have do these things early on in local tournaments, but if u gain a reputation, then you can change it up, remove the gimmicky stuff and because u now have a rep, at the big tournaments, u can lead the way.

This was great, and in college it probably finals at AFA. I don't think this won this round, because although so good, so very good, the first place piece, the help, was so very good also, so much more subtle and without the unnecessary clicking sounds. I hope high schools can see that these sounds are unnecessary, the first place piece didn't need it, and neither did this one. But that doesn't take away from these girls talent, that's a high school coaching thing. These girls are so good and seriously this finals, possibly even wins AFA the college nationals. That can be true of some high school duos in finals, not all, but some. I say that because of the gimmicky clicks and pops, but talent wise, oh most NFL finalists can final or win at college. Often they are better. But please oh please high school coaches, time to advance the style, like Tommy Lindsey did, and stop the clicking and popping, maybe in HI it's ok, but even there frankly, it could be removed.

If this was enrolled in college tournament, it wins AFA, NFA. I don't say that about every high school's piece, but this does win.

i cried and then laughed and then cried cause, i feel him man when he said when i look into the mirror I dont hate who I see, and that got me because I have those thoughts everyday, I have the thoughts of people calling me stick, twig, weak, boney, skeleton, always grabbing my wrist to see how small it is, I hate it, I hated it ever since 1st grade but it hasn't stopped, its gotten better, ... but it hasn't stopped and one day I hope i can look in the mirror and like what it see

are you disabled or completely able-bodied? Because if you're able bodied you can change that by eating a calorie surplus and lifting weights

Actually...Fact Check. This piece was coached by Dr. Tommie Lindsey, Jr. of James Logan High School, where Mr. James Doyle was a consultant coach, and the two young women in the performance were enrolled as students.

@@TheJunglePulse He’s just asking to give credit where credit is due. If you look at other videos they credit the high school in the description but not on this one. You’re trying hard to sound smart but you’re really just condescending.
