I’m ready to set mine on fire, net works great, the right hand tension cylinder bracket tore off, then last night the bolts in the hitch broke and I lost the baler off the tractor, with the clevis still connected to the drawbar.

Looking to buy a baler this summer or fall for next year. I wish you would actually show how to check that stuff instead of just talking about it. I have never owned or run a square baler only just round balers, and my small farm budget can't afford a new one.

Do you ever switch back and forth to a trailer with air brakes? Im pulling dry vans and a tilt top gooseneck with electric brakes. Hoping to use the peterbilt when my ton dodge is out of commission. Cant have full current to the gooseneck hookup but still need van lights to operate. Am i thinking wrong? Thanks

I am only licsened to pull non air braked trailers, the trailer I currently have has air over hydraulic brakes and seems to work fine. It does use the factory trailer plug and the electric one still works the way I have it wired.

Thanks! I found a round oin to flat spade type plug and i think i can clip the brakelight wire in the adapter and run a separate power line from the brake light switch thru the controller then to the seven pin spade connector. That way i can have my semi brakelights and then the electric brakes in the gooseneck... I also bought a adapter from kingpin to gooseneck ball. I havent tried it yet and may have to block up my fifth wheel like when you pull a frameless dump. Thanks again!!!

My baler is junk I won't buy another kubota because when I unload a bale my belts quit rotating. I have toturn off pto to not cause fire or wear. Then when I go to unload a wrapped bale the tailgate opens 10 inches and stops. I have to wait til it decides to open after hitting the hydraulics a few times. It also plugs easily. No more kubota fir me

My kubota is junk the belts stop rotating when tailgate is open to unload a bale plus the tailgate takes minutes to open up all the way to unload the bale. I have to shut pto off to keep from burning belts or causing fire. I will never buy another kubota piece of jap junk

check all the hardware make sure it's still tight is all i will say, haven't broke a tooth yet, still the best hay rakes out there for hay quality are rotary imo. There are like 3 manufacturers, this is the exact same as the one kubota sells just different color.

@@DLKHAY yes nh and kubota are rebadged kneverlend. So u would recommend the 3114 to someone buying a rotary? I do all dry hay for round baling. I have roll bar rake now. It works great and is cheap vs a rotary. However, the hay doesnt dry in the row with a rollbar. Plus i can only go 3mph before it flings hay and makes bad windrow... 5 to 8mph is what nh says for best performance. U agree?

what would you recommend when the belt broke and there's a full sized bale in there? Was baling last night and boom...nothing. Monitor says clutch slipped. Well, slip clutch definitely engaged and the middle belt is off the top roller and stuck. Can't open the gate b/c slip clutch is engaged and cant feed the hydraulics to the gate. Is there a way to get the gate open when the slip clutch is engaged? These self contained hydraulics can be problematic to say the least.
@DLKHAY
@DLKHAY 2 жыл бұрын
now i am no expert but what comes to mind is try and slack off all the belt tension, the goal is to get the bale out so if you make the belts slip and the clutch is engaged spinning everything you should be able to raise the back gate. that being said you may need to cut the bale out of there once the gate does open. hope this helps keep me posted

I know this is an old video but just my 2c, I've been looking at these pretty seriously. We've got multiple Kioti dealers around here that all except one are very reputable. I think these days dealer support means everything, our local Deere dealers all just got bought up by a massive conglomerate which really rubs me the wrong way. We have a decent Case IH dealer now but I don't feel the quality is any better on the comparable Farmall series which are made in either Turkey or Italy, same can be said for NH except I've had poor experiences with that dealer. Doesn't leave much else, really leaning at buying one of these 1153s partly to support another local business, they sell roadside mowers and had one parked next to a Deere 6105E I think it was, and they were extremely comparable. Deere is about $25k more. I'm going to keep doing research on them and looking around but I think they are as much of a contender as any of the other tractors in this class. Thanks for the video of one looking dirty and operating in a hay operation.
@DLKHAY
@DLKHAY 2 жыл бұрын
the only issue i would foresee is the dealerships ability to actually repair the tractor. Around here most of the dealers are stand alone and usually an existing small engines type shop. This particular farm had bought this tractor and a 70hp model, that 70 had a steering issue that the dealer could not figure out.
@TheMCD1989
@TheMCD1989 2 жыл бұрын
@@DLKHAY I agree totally, we run all 5000 series John Deeres right now and have 2 dealers 40 minutes away, our 5425 was blowing the ignition fuse a couple weeks ago and I couldn't trace the issue, had to call Deere for a road call and the guy new the tractors and diagnosed the issue to a sensor/switch in less than 5 minutes and had one on the truck. Next day I got a spare I had ordered to have on hand in the mail. Going to be hard for these short line brands to compete with that, but I don't know if Deere service will be the same in 5 years or so with the whole northeast being bought out by a Texas outfit. All that said the dealer that sells these has 3 or 4 of them out working in the last couple years and they have a huge shop and a setup medium duty service truck as they also sell ditch mowers, log trailers, Mustang skidsteers and whatever name those bright green telehandlers are, that definitely plays into it for me. I farm full time and want to make sure someone has my back, I know the dealer will, I'm just a little concerned about Kioti and the speed you get parts. They gave me the number of a guy who bought a new 1153 a year and a half ago who runs his every day feeding on a dairy, I need to touch base with him. Since it's been 2 years are you still doing custom work for these guys? How many hours are on the 2 tractors they bought now? Any issues you know of besides that steering issue on the RX? Sorry for the long ass rant.
