The only thibg I never liker about this almost perfect master piece was that, the insulting simplification of what The Sabbat really is (or was in 3rd edition).

As a fan of SMT (and now Metaphor) but not Persona, it’s nice to see other settings for a persona style game. But what is the story here? Was there a setup? And protagonist puts me off. It’s also got that millennial writing/humor. But good watch nonetheless 😊😅

One of my top 3 favourite survival horror games. Very rough around the edges but great in atmosphere.

In a game like this, I wouldn't be ashamed of using an automap. Heck, when I was playing Wizardry 1 i tried to make my own maps, but that proved to be basically impossible because of all the teleporters and looping between sides of the map. I'm one of those players who tries to write every detail down on paper because I find it relaxing and fun (despite being born in the 21st century), but I've learned to accept the help of the internet when it comes to wizardry.

never played back then, but looks on par with other games from PS1 generation, like Quake, Goldeneye, Half-Life 1. Yeah, it wouldn't take just a couple years to Mass Effect, buddy, but an entire console/hardware generation would need to go buy before Mass Effect-grade graphics...

I tried remembering the title of this game. Have played it back in 2004 but sadly was not able to finish it. Until one day this year, I was scrolling through a bunch of abandoned games online and found a screenshot of the Lake Nymph, and I was so happy! Immediately downloaded it from GOG. Still finishing it :D

Somehow, settings like this give me hope. Sure, life is shit… but there _is_ life. The world ended centuries ago, but there are still people around to appreciate the fact. It wasn’t the ultimate doom of all life, but rather another chapter in the history of a wounded, but still whole, world. And The thing about wounds? They always heal, in time.

I have watched this over 100 times and will continue to do so until I die or become a dragon myself.

this game is great if you go into it expecting to use mods. many of them refresh or even entirely revise the content.

In all fairness, Terrifier isn't too terrible. Plenty of gore, yes, but it doesn't feel real. I genuinely doubt you'd enjoy them - OTOH, Martyrs is in a whole different category. There's not nearly as much gore - but it feels very real, and extremely intense. If you like the kind of horror that genuinely disturbs you, it's a piece of art - but in my opinion, it's the most extreme.

Stennes and the SA are the best part from the series.
