It just intensifies my relentless crush on this man and his music. I commented on the great melodic interval when he sings "be there" in another video, so I won't get redundant here 😄It'll just intensify my relentless crush. ❤

You think it's a nice pleasant song with a lovely melody. Then it turns a corner and gets ... well ... kinda dirty. Decadent. Slightly dark. Indulgent. But decidedly white. The guitar solo is what's missing in music today. An actual melodic solo. A solo you sing with. Every time this song comes up on my random playlist, it gets played. All the way through. No skipping here.

Oh boy. I'm going down a Duncan Sheik rabbit hole again. Here we go ... Why is this so good? Lyrical delivery. Specifically the softer plaintive parts. 1. Thoughtful 2. On purpose 3. Handled with tender, loving care And, so say I.

Hello Duncan. I saw you live twice between 2002-2007 in Portland and Seattle. At one of your shows I screamed, "Duncan rules!" and you replied, "No, you rule!" My friend and I were able to speak with you briefly after the show. Thanks for all of your music!

this is an awesome musical & the actors are great but throughout the album sometimes they're really holding onto that accent for dear life 😭 not that i blame them, it must be really hard to talk AND sing well with an accent thats not your own

Duncan Sheik's "Hey You" (2015) has a strikingly similar chorus and lyrics to Yellowcard's "Lights and Sounds" (2005), from ten years earlier.

One night, many, many years ago, friends and I had tickets to see Ben Folds. Had no idea who the opener was gonna be. Got there and it was Duncan Sheik. Ok. Sure. He closed with this. We all also loved Radiohead and this blew us away. I never thought Duncan Sheik would be one of my most memorable experiences at a concert when I first heard Barely Breathing.
