As I listened, I thought what misfortune he must have met, to write such wise words. So I read about him on several websites just now. He was just a little boy when it began 😢 I also just now found out about Poets Corner while I was reading

Damn, Bill, way too neg. But when you consider that the one likeness considered to be from his time was derided as “looking like a butcher”, I can see why this is more poetic than a thousand “lips like cherries ripe and eyes like stars” from a lesser poet.

Nah alot of gals are into that kinda thing. A lot of my Shakespeare readings gets a lot of view on TikTok, and you’d be surprised how many say they like it better than the more conventional 18 or 116

Hey! I had to tell you this because I feel like the cultured bumpkin is prob the only person in the world who could probably appreciate it … After my night shift I fell asleep this morning and I DREAMED I had a restaurant called BillyBoba… (as in Billy bob/ boba- which I have no doubt you got the play on words) … it was a really redneck restaurant that served super bougie food! 🤣😅🤣

I wonder about these poets who get stoic, dignified creatures of God in their yard, while we get two baby hawks every two years, whose mom sits in silent exhaustion while they scream in endless duets between awkward, clumsy baby flights in pursuit of what appears to be each others’ eyeballs.
