In 2016 there was an exhibit of refrigerators- forty-five woodgrain mini-fridges from the 1970s through the 1990s- all in good working order. Each one was plugged in and running, and had dollhouse style dioramas built in them. I have yet to find a video showing that exhibit.

Swans 2010 - 2017 was a VERY special moment in time. I'm so glad I caught them at least once in that time, in May 2017. I missed seeing them twice before due to illness / work emergencies, and I knew I couldn't let it slip again. A very very special performance at the Roundhouse in London. Saw them again recently here in London and it was, of course, a fantastic performance, but that previous incarnation was able to not only capture lightning in a bottle, but mold it to their liking, enhance it, focus it and release it onto our ears in a sonic assault with transcendental repercussions. It went beyond music, honestly. Even in that moment I knew I was privileged to be there.
