3:47, you didnt put empty ones in, that happened to me when i stored some Dum-Dum suckers in a closet, left them for years, all 6 suckers were empty, idk how it happens. i thought maybe bugs ate it from inside the package. turns out some candy just dissolves into thin air i guess XD
@RandomSime2 жыл бұрын
Nah some were empty and I put the packets in just like some people keep empty Coke bottles. Some of them tho... it's like they'd melted or dissolved. The tin was sealed with 2 layers of electrical tape and the lollies were in sealed plastic bags. Nothing got in or there'd be signs of other stuff chewed. With loose dumdums or chupachups or those other suckers (we call 'em lollipops in Australia), ants can crawl up the hollow stick and clean them from the inside out!

Man that was cool and gave me a few more ideas for creating my time capsule. I’m just trying to decide whether I want to set the date for opening relatively short, say 5-7 years or 10-15 years ahead. Heck, me being 62 and hoping to see my kids’ and grandkids’ reaction is definitely a consideration for opening. Maybe I can make it a perpetual time capsule and at each opening everyone could add a few items of their own, when they could add notes, instructions, etc. I need to finish it before the heirlooms, as I prefer to call it becomes trash or uninteresting. Thanks for sharing yours. 😇😎
@RandomSime2 жыл бұрын
Those are some good ideas. I like the idea of a time capsule that's opened and shut and opened every period of years. That would be like sending things to the future! Why not make a time capsule each year to open in 10 years. At 72 you would have 10 years of 10-year old capsules to open. Or make a bunch now to open in 5, 10, 15, 20 years.

For all of you little children calling this fake, and saying things don't last this long, when you get older, you'll look backwards and realize that a certain time wasn't too long ago, like right now, 2021, when it reaches 2041, you teenagers will say to someone saying 2035 was so long ago, "6 years is nothing, I remember 2021 like it was yesterday"

Cats are not genetically inclined to understand the concept of a piece of land within their territory that is walled off and inaccessible to them. They will continuously look for a way inside, and when they finally sneak in, they will busily go about scent-marking everything to claim it as part of their territory, especially if the scent of another cat is detected. IMHO, most cats are smart enough to realize they cannot vanquish a fully-grown man in battle, so they won't try to kill and eat you when they get inside your apartment, but they don't have to be overly friendly either when they first meet you. You will be warned. If you feed the invading cat, you cross over the line from potential threat to wonderful resource to be claimed by lots of rubbing of cheek upon you. Same goes for petting and scritchy-scratching.

@@RandomSime Unfamiliar hooman in newly conquered territory required some training to become more useful. Mission accomplished after a few days spent with him. He now brings food, alleviates my boredom with kittenish frivolities that nonetheless are a good workout, and administers glorious stroking and scratching on demand. I think I will keep him now.

@@RandomSime I have about 3 cats neighbours cats who come into my house XD one's a tabby another one is the siamese cat who lives right next to me and a tuxedo cat who hisses for no reason. Oh and both the tabby and the siamese are uneutured( tabby is male and siamese is female) although my cat is a spayed female.
@RadicalDreamer17 Жыл бұрын
@@sakuraneko2595 Ever since our male cat died and we got our new female cat, we’ve noticed a lot more male cats in the neighborhood. Not that a few didn’t try to get into our house before but our male cat chased them away fast. It’s another story now that he’s gone. Our new female cat is spayed but she’s quite friendly/playful with other cats and she let them go whenever they like. Also, maybe it doesn’t matter to the male cats that she’s spayed… she’s still attractive to them, I guess ? Anyway, recently we’re having a problem with a male cat coming in and marking his territory. He’s not a stray since I once saw him wear a collar… but his owners apparently haven’t bothered to neuter him. And, of course, he’s bud with our female cat. I found her chilling in front of the cat door, on the carpet, while her friend was busy stinking up the kitchen.

What if the cat meows sometimes while this is happening
@RandomSime3 жыл бұрын
They have vocalisations that they use to tell each other that they're being too rough, and then there's a meow that's like "I need help from a human!" You can pick them out by paying attention to the feelings you get when they meow.
