I had a 2002 4.7 reg cab, horrible gas guzzler and weak engine, as far as hp goes. The 2009-2013 4.7 is superior in every aspect even makes 310 hp

The noise you hear is probably the infotainment system's fan, probably clogged by dust after 9 years. You should remove the system and blow some air through it. The trunk opening button not working may be due to a broken wire near the door hinge. The C215 CL was known for this issue due to the complex design of its hinges. At least you should remove the button and check for electrical continuity. And the ambidextrous arm rest is very well knonwn, almost every review of the W222 I watched showed it, and probably the one from Doug de Muro

Universalcarlifts sells a 3” lift kit for these platform cars , with a little modification you can make it bigger. The worst part I came across was the rear axle swings forward & you have to trim between the wheel & the back door a decent bit for clearance

Just found this video, very nice truck. I have a '97 Ram 1500 with a 360 V8 auto with 303,600 miles on it so far with the original engine and trans. I've owned my truck for a little over 11 years now and I've put 111,000 on it myself so far. I'll never own any other truck but a Ram, I'll drive my truck until it won't run anymore or I can't drive anymore one. I'll be checking out some of your other videos on here.

Dude, I put a 225 Dauntless in my Willys too. I rebuilt it to stock, with the stock 2 barrel and headers. what an engine. in the real ruff stuff it would idle down to 300 RPM and not stall, had a T14 in it with 32" shoes. I love that engine. that was a long time ago.

Aahhhh the poor old Hemi tick. It's not for everyone and I wouldn't recommended it to just everyone. If your the type of person that I know does and keep up with maintenance and understand the importance of maintenance then I'll say if you really like the ram truck that much then go ahead. But if your the type of person like my brother 😂 for example who absolutely know nothing about vehicles then ill say no and to stay away from the ram for your own sake and for the ram truck sake 😂. My brother is so clueless when it come to vehicles that his first car ever a old 1994 Toyota Camry he literally drove it with out knowing that vehicle's needed oil change and that oil change are important and reason behind oil change 😂. It wasn't until one day I borrowed his camry to go get a pack of cigarette in the middle of the night because my car was block in the driveway and I didn’t feel like moving all the cars around just to get my car out the driveway. I immediately felt something wasn't right. The engine was shaking and not normal especially when accelerating to merge on to the highway it was clearly low on power and shaking, but I didn't felt any miss fire just down on power and shaking no miss fire. Got to the gas station got under the hood did some quick investigation and the moment I pull the oil dip stick to check 😲... the oil dip stick was bone dry 🤨. Ended up also buying engine oil for the poor camry at that gas station. After adding the oil I drove back home and immediately notice the shaking was gone the power was back and csn feel more power merging onto the highway. The dame thing ran perfectly after adding oil. I gotta say them 90s toyota we're built different. The only thing that rang in my head the entire time driving home was how long have my brother been driving like that. Do that to a ram and you'll kill it. Them stupid tiny oil port to the lifter roller are already horrible as it is. Add on a poor owner who nglecting the simplest oil change is a big disaster just waiting to happen on these ram. Leaving old oil residue to clog up them poor design lifers roolers tiny oil port id the number one Hemi tick killer symptoms. If you want to own one of these 5.7 v8 hemi, you better be religious about the oil change and keeping the engine oil from any contamination that can clog up the lifter roller stupid tiny oil port design. If you can do that, you can get some good life out of it before the hemi tick put a end to it. Because it is a when more then a how or why with these hemi. My neighbor love these ram so much he have two of them a 3rd and 4th gen.

Have a 2014 Ram Outdoorsman w/ 5.7 - it has been a great truck and a 4wd truck you don’t see a lot of. It is a southern truck and well cared for, only 95k and looks and drives like when we brought it home. Had a couple small issues under warranty- now just had a ABS module issue that was hard to find a part but got that fixed. I live this truck, and it is still a nice beast

You don’t have to manually disengage the parking brake before shifting gears. You put your foot on the brake and shift to drive, the parking brake automatically disengages when you press the accelerator.
