Love this. For 2025,I've dropped down to the amplify quarterly (I got the bundle) for life/memory planning since it has Monthly, weekly AND daily!!! I use the ec daily duo 7x9 for work but tear out sat/sun to de bulk. I had already bought the 2025 yearly amplify Planner so I'm kicking around the idea of using it as a training/running journal. ❤

Hi, I know this was posted sometime during 2022 and it's now 2024, but since you mentioned the Anti-Planner and Amazon in the same sentence, I felt I should too. At this writing there are multiple sellers listing "The Anti-Planner" on Amazon, at about half the price posted on the designer's web site. Those on Amazon are almost certainly pirated copies and if you order one of them, you may never receive it. Ask me how I know. But really - there's a warning posted on the Anti-Planner website alerting people there appear to be illicit copies offered at deep discount on various sites. This appears to be true. I was able to get a refund from AMZ and am planning to order an original, legit copy.

@Runsonespresso4 ай бұрын
According to the Amazon listing, it is 110 gsm. It's definitely thicker than like copy paper but not as thick as more expensive planners/notebooks. The paper is fairly smooth and doesn't feel like it has any coating. I'm not a fountain pen expert but I think if you used a fine to medium nib it may work. I guess I need to use my fountain pens more! 😆 they just don't seem to work well with Erin Condren or Archer & Olive so I forget. Or maybe it's user error.

I very much appreciate your review! It’s very different from the others I’ve watched. I love that you talk about the quality and durability of the paper stock used ~ what will last and what won’t as well a tour of the various sections. It’s a pricey book, but the author clearly did A LOT of work creating it. I have not purchased it yet. I’m doing my due diligence and watching and reading reviews. I don’t want to make yet another impulsive purchase that will sit on the shelf. I’m assessing whether it will truly be useful or just collect dust. Thanks for your review! I’m off to check out another, but will come back and update this if I end up buying it!i And a ps … I saw quite a few counterfeit knock offs on Amazon for a lot less and I will not buy those - first and foremost, so the author gets compensated, and I’ll bet money that the quality of the paper stock used would be subpar!

I did notice some knock offs when I was looking for something. I hope no one gets mislead and purchases them! I'd hate if someone got an inferior product.

@sarahshahin21414 ай бұрын
hi, if you get the dated version, the months will be followed by the weeklies 😃
@Runsonespresso4 ай бұрын
I am aware. I still don't like it. I would prefer undated and dated to be the same with a month followed by the weeks then the next month. Of course, that is my personal preference and I'm letting other people know so they can make their own decision on if it will work for them. I also usually get undated planners for reviews because I give them away and people don't "miss out" on part of the planner because we're halfway through the year.
@holleholtz91854 ай бұрын
The pages are undated because the creators realize we don't always have every day to take the time. The bullet journal is the same way; designed for ADHD! 😃 They want it "shame free" so people will feel safe just opening it up to the next blank page & starting again. ❤
@Runsonespresso4 ай бұрын
These videos are a closer look at planners so people know what to expect. I let people know what works for me and my preferences to help them determine if this is something that may or may not work for them. Not everyone likes undated pages. Some people hate it because if they mess it up, it throws everything off. I’d rather let someone know before they spend the money and realize it’s not going to work for them. I spend a lot of time looking over each planner, sometimes using them, and reading all the info available so I can give people a complete picture of what they are purchasing. I actually still have this one and pull it out to use now and then. I even did the Kickstarter for their weekly planner because I like the company so much.

Hi Jenna. My first time here, you have a great channel. Some of those sections that you didn't understand (rewards, flow etc) are important for people with ADHD, that is why she included the sections specially the rewards we look for dopamine the role of the rewards is to provide that after doing a task. I have a question do you have a favorite ADHD planner. You mentioned Makse Life, I hate it, it was too much for me, same for Power Sheets.
@Runsonespresso4 ай бұрын
I have ADHD and that planner did not work at all for me because things like rewards don't work at all for me. I try to show the entire planner and give my thoughts so others can better decide if they think it would work (or not) for them. Are you looking for a goal system? MakseLife and Power Sheets are more goal systems than planners. I tend to take what works from those systems and leave the rest. If you are looking for a planner, I like vertical planners (like Erin Condren or Happy Planner). Lately, I've been using the Happy Planner Dashboard layout and am really enjoying it. I plan to record a plan with me video in the Dashboard to go up next week if you want to see it more in action. I also like the Erin Condren Daily Duo but I know daily can be a bit much for people, depending on what they have going on.

Overwhelm can be part of ADHD. I definitely struggle with it at times. There is a lot of activities in the book but if you know you get overwhelmed, you could focus on that section at first. The totality of the book can be overwhelming. I think the key is to know you don't have to do everything in the book and find the areas and activities that fit your needs.
