I like where this is going! I think my problem is that I add too many levels to the mega towers too soon and lose control of what the city needs. Like, if they need shops, I add shop level, but never really thought about putting regular commercial zones like this, for example 😅 I wonder which levels your towers are gonna have in the end

EA recently announced that instead of making a new sims game they're going to go back to sims 4 and continue to update it. Do you think there's a slight chance something like that can happen to simcity? The precedent of game being brought back to constant update cycle after 10 years of being abandoned sounds really farfetched, but sims 4 for example isn't really a recent game either.

why not elite megatowers? interesting idea of non industrial omega city👍 megatower omega profits also count as franchise profit so you can have almost zero actual industry also would recomend university for the clean hightech look of the factories

The game I am playing won't allow me to extend my roads only up to a certain point. My borders are locked until I pay , which I can't afford. So this video is no help to me? IDK what to do? LVL 12 and I have had to upgrade my roads 3 times now!! Any suggestions that might help me?? I am going now to bulldoze some intersections and try that though, so thanks!

oh I forgot to tell you about a discovery that happened in the omega city when placing parks with many extensions around the masion and around the beach area a bug happened that I never heard of before🤔 some ground became permanently higher wealth, it was annoying in omega city since I want low wealth for profits, but saved me alot of money in suburbia

I never understood the purpose of the Mayor's house. The reason i say that is that there seems to be more importance put on the Mayor's Mansion. The Mayor's house cost $100 per hour to run but other than raising the surrounding land values, i don't see the purpose for it.

youtube did not like the infopasta so gotta split the comment 1)suburbia city story is complicated, and adding to my comment below the previous episode at the start this city, it was just a quick and dirty high population grid, to unlock some departments since it was early in regions life but while I was building the red mayor started his Vegas city, and was surprisingly cooperative

I received my game some days ago and I have started playing along. But my city started growing faster than yours (72000 people). Now I have too much available jobs (low wealth jobs), my factories are closing, commercials are closing, and the the traffic is starting to become a problem. What should I do ? I'd say the mayor should live in the beach, maybe put a small new low density medium wealth area.

I was so caught up in the beauty, thinking 😊 the Mayor’s house would look nice by the beach, and then it happens….I forgot the sky was falling was the theme 😱😳 😳 wow 😮 I said calm down girl it’s just a game.😮😅. The motivation in the game was a pun, indeed,. liked the quiet and somber ending as it went off was epic.

We could use the medium wealth influence of the Mayor house to increase medium wealth population for the academy, along with other parks, maybe embellishing the new suburban area down by the water, and having another road taking them quickly to The Oval™ area

No need for city specialization at all, just plop the recycling center and it's all good. It makes a ton of money for you.

I think it would be too much for this Academy city also having a money making specialization, there are plenty of other empty plots to build yet and you may run out of .. "unique" things to do in those plots(?).. Unless you also consider doing doubles in every city, like Gambling+Academy, Omega+University, for example, so the unique combinations expand a little, If that's a concern at all. Besides, if we commit too much on said new specialization, we'd have to change many estabilished things on the current city to adapt for the new buildings/HQs... 🤔

Will you ever start back playing sim city build it

for specialization, gambling is the logical choice since there is only two cities with ferry connection and it would look cool to have some taxies on those big roads but no specialization is also fine👍anyway looks like there could fit one more building near that academy extension🤔

I recently got back into Sims city. and i had this notion of omega being bad. untill i used it. seeing that your hourly is similar to mine, just tells me how insane and adictive omega is. I made my city tax free simply because of how much money i was brininging in between omega and towers.
