Peter Storm kit is excellent in most situations in the UK. Cleaned properly and keep the waterproof finish refurbed every so often and they will do you fine. I have 6 jackets, from the most expensive to budget/ mid price like Peter Storm and they all function equally as well if used sensibly. 😁

Is there a certain technique to pulling the pump back out after inflating? Everytime I do it the air comes straight back out for some reason, takes a few good goes for it to stay in place, and I don’t do anything different! … I have made sure the white cap is out ready for inflation too so not sure what else is the problem!

Don’t put anything in the pockets woke up to find every thing soaked otherwise it did well in high winds and rain.

Its a good little tent, gair weather only, if it rains and you have stuff touching the sides water will come in, i ended up with soaked bedding. So not great unless you can keep everything away from the sides.

I can't work out how to tie it down properly at the back. There are no proper guy ropes, just some thick straps. I've had to improvise.

Top tips there, leave the inner inside, measure the folds against the bag and most importantly start rolling with the poles and pegs inside to help push out the air. Thank you, Millets

I ve been using it for 4 years and I only regret not buying it in a different colour (though the options were rather limited back then) . This is not a fleece but lining - you can easily put under it a sweater or suit . I don't regret 150 euros for it (they are cheaper in February) . I would buy another one if it was green .

Pretty sure folding a tent is fine. I had a tent i used for over a decade at various festivals. It was fine. Only ditched it because someone poked a hole in it.
