My father played trombone in this band, and was on the committee that gave the Tennessee band its name. I guess that would have been in the late 40s or early 50s!

It's great to be a Tennessee Volunteer! There is no place like rocky top.

It's "Football Time in Tennessee" and the "Pride of the Southland Band" adds to the "Big Orange Nation" pageantry every Saturday across the Southeastern Conference....especially in Knoxville!

At least this band is traditional in so far as it doesn’t rely on majorettes that bump and grind like $10 hookers and have robotic, over-egoed gimps with attitude up front.

First I'm hearing of this! Pretty cool! That had to be an expensive trip with all their equipment. Rocky Top was also played at the Tattoo in Edinburgh a few years ago by the Citadel!

I LOVE ND football 🏈 but NOTHING LIKE GOING TO A VOL WALK & GAME !!!! Especially when the Vols r winning !!! ND & Vol fan 4 life !!!

I guess they only know one song, and Rocky Top isn’t even the Tennessee fight song. They also march too many bass drums in the wrong sizes. The repetition is beyond annoying.
