My biggest flex is I did a which bsd character am I quiz and got the only man Dazai cared about 🙂💔(ik he loves some others too BUT)

I cried so much at this edit. Dazai's my fav character, the trauma this guy had gone through just at his teenage kills me (internally). And for the people who hate Dazai because of the Akutagawa thing: To survive in the Mafia, tough training is needed. Guys, don't forget it was Dazai that gave Akutagawa a reason to live and brought him. Akutagawa would have died then and there without any purpose and we wouldn't even care because he would just be a random side character. But it all was because of Dazai. And don't forget Dazai was abused by Mori too, it's an abuse cycle. You all defend Akutagawa abusing Kyouka but not Dazai training Akutagawa. Akutagawa straight away was ready to kill Kyouka when she admitted she didn't want to work with the mafia anymore while Dazai did nothing like that. And we know it was the Dark Era. Dazai is the most complex character in the whole anime so remember, "people fear what they do not understand and understand what they do not fear." It's Easy to hate Dazai but remember he's not a red flag. Chuuya also killed a lot of people but you guys defend him saying he was traumatized as said in the stormbringer. Yeah, Alright, I'm not going against it but Dazai was also traumatized and all his actions shiuld be justified like Chuuya. He doesn't even know which path to follow and is just looking for a reason to live. P.S (Real references that are kinda important): According to the book “文豪どうかしてる逸話集,” one time when Nakahara Chuuya got drunk, he went to Dazai Osamu’s house and cursed “moron! moron!” in front of his face. Dazai’s reaction to this sudden abuse is said to be hiding under his blanket and cried. When the Blue Flower Club went drinking, Chuuya got drunk and started harassing Dazai, saying: “ Why the hell do your face looks like a flying blue mackerel? What kind of flower do you like anyway?” Dazai, with trembling voice, answered: “Peach Blossom,” to which Chuuya replied: “ Tch, that’s why you suck.” So, stop protagonising Chuuya and Akutagawa while antagonising Dazai, but still if you want to, atleast understand him and then type your points. Not just blind support like, "Dazai abused Akutagawa that's why he's toxic, Dazai harrassed Chuuya that's why he's toxic!" Anyways, I know this was irrelevant-

The fact that Odasaku's last words "be on the side that saves people" It really showed Dazai that being a Mafia Executive isn't a right path for him... I'm glad that Odasaku teached Dazai the right path... And I'm glad Dazai chose the right path, which is being part in Armed Detective Agency. When I saw Odasaku dies... I definitely salute for Odasaku because of his sacrifice... I also love how Atsushi and Chuuya were always there for Dazai even Odasaku died...

I love chuuya and atsushi, but from the beginning odasaku was the only one who understood dazai, everyone thinks that dazai just wants to die because he doesn't see a value in life, but the truth is that deep down dazai wants to live, he just hasn't found a good enough reason to do it yet, so he tries to kill himself to get away from it, and odasaku was the only one who understood it, giving him a reason to leave the mafia and join the agency, saving people

When he jumped in Beast, we can see that actually he can die by his will, even in canon world he doesn't . And from my POV, perhaps Oda is not his reason living, Oda is still who Dazai chooses to stay forever, who he spends his whole life to find, and Dazai wished his true self was discovered too ( and it happened, by Oda).

But I can only feel sad for their relationship, because somehow, it is still Dazai's karma, for has pushed many lifes into the situation of his beloved Oda. He doesn't treasure his life, that why Oda - who he treasures most, was taken, to make him understand the weight of one's life. But I still wish that in the another life, they can be together, for things Dazai has atoned in canon and many worlds besides Beast.

I also love the fact that Oda was attracted by Dazai even he had never met Dazai before (and he even tried to not believe in Dazai's words, when he realised that his tone was quite high and harsh ), when Oda truly saw through his soul and loved it not for the things Dazai did and will do, just himself

@@96martinika96 yeah in beast it's revealed that creating an alternate universe with this method of writing down logical things just summons up a timeline that fits said requirements and has it overlap the one the book user is in. aka they now live in a fake reality.
