@@crimeancomposer Thank you for your feedback. I got six different renditions of pathetique in vinyl format covering some famous orchestras but the Los Angles version. I do have the Giulini /Los Angeles pathetique but it is in the CD format which somehow didn't get much of my attention. I will check it out from the shelf. As for the sound level, your point taken. It's always a struggle between self music enjoyment and neighborhood relations 😅. Thanks

Down on luck I can hardly say I'm down on luck I've monopolized your life too long I know that certainly Something's going wrong Times are tough I can hardly say that times are tough But all around us friends are so confused And you have so much to give And nothing to lose Don't look back, walk away Burn the past, live today People change, who cares why? Don't grow old, never die Celebration Being alive was cause for celebration But I'm obliged to say I feel so sad They'll lose the optimist supposedly mad I know you'll be alright Don't you worry 'cause I know you'll be alright There's one thing you must believe I love you Here alone, tonight I really do Don't look back, walk away Burn the past, live today People change, who cares why? Don't grow old, never die Don't look back, walk away Burn the past, live today People change, who cares why? Thanks for your nice words. Mine is just a modest system, typically comprising an MC cartridge, a phono amp, pre/power amp and a pair of Scandinavian made speakers. I guess the sound your heard was predominantly characterised the tubes being deployed at different stages of the signal path along the way as well as speaker placement. From what I gathered, both define the sound heavily in my listening room.

Hello. Thanks for asking. My system is a modest set-up. The MC cartridge connects to a tube phono amplifier before the signal goes through a tube pre-amp and power amp to drive the speakers. The sonic character may largely come from the tubes.

@ELM804
@ELM804 2 ай бұрын
@@badGamr I am afraid not. No harm to give them a listen if opportunity arises. In the meantime I am happy with the mainstream speakers which require a placement position some distance from the walls. This way pressumably works better at creating a 3D sound stage. Corner speakers are generally good in such a way that a sound field is reproduced to make the listeners immerse in the music but are probably not a strong candidate for holographic imaging
