Wonderful piece of gear. However reverbs are not a great example to prove "latency free" and "in phase". How about using a hardware 1176 in a parallel chain for lead vocal

Jesus, that's a whole new level of complicated, for something that aims at simplifying stuff. Why not just plug your pedals into your soundcard and fix the latency once and for all?

So…..This is a AD/DA converter but via USB? I can see how this would be useful even for those of us with converters. I literally have 6 effects units eating up channels on my converter. I could use this instead and free up channels on my converter.
@Stefan1969-13 күн бұрын
If i do understand it correct: i can use it in addition to my audio interface? (esp. Cubase in Windows only can use one Audio Interface at a time). So this will be an huge Advantage!! Because 8 ADDA Channels for my Merging Hapi will cost 2k!
@freqport3 күн бұрын
Yes you can use this in ADDITION to your existing soundcard adding more channel to your setup. You can also stack 2x FreqInOut units to get 8 more Ins & Outs :)

Wouldn't it be better to get a decent saturator box in this price? It sounds cool but still it is only a usb gadget with typical software limitations that will last only as long as it is OS supported, while u pay a hardware price 🤔 What U think?

It is really a cool product - As with all stuff that requires a computer - it needs software to operate - but if your look at Freqport - this is the essence of the company - Soft and hardware. So far they have this one product - and I believe they will keep supporting the product, that justifies their existance. So far they have proven support for both Mac and Windows and I believe most - if not all Daw formats.
@bakerlefdaoui6801 Жыл бұрын
Take the same box, put it in rack unit, add analog IN and OUT with the recall function, and you got a serious BANGER product for mastering studios. New engineers using Bettermaker Wes audio and Tegeler equipment need a quality tube saturator that can be added to their chain with recall function. If the tubes are more subtle, a pentode and a triode circuit, this thing will sell !

Kickdrum is usualy a Mono Sound so we will usually set it up as a mono channel. In stereo L/R should be the same, but it all depends on how you use the plugin. If u tweak harmonics u can easy switch L/R.
