Once it says full on the display, will it continue on trickling charging the battery after that? Or is there another setting that you have to put it on for it to be a trickle charger so that we could leave it there for three months without having to worry about the battery dying?

When Full is displayed, this means that charging is complete, but leave the battery connected to the charger for an hour after charging is complete, and this is recommended Do not leave the battery connected to the charger after charging is complete for more than three hours to ensure the safety of the battery.

I used it one year ago and now I tried to load the 12V battery again and the charger beeps and shows nothing on the display - and it dont matters if you plug the battery or the AC power first! I think it is already broken...

No the batter charger will not charge itself. It has to be plugged in to work.

It can be seen that you don't read the instructions, but the general rule of electronics says that I first connect the appliance, first the + pole and then the - pole, and only then plug the source into the socket. When you connect live terminals, you never know what the charger can do. In this way, you actually short-circuit the source under voltage and the output stage takes a serious hit. And you'll make a video about it! I'm pretty careful, I've been doing electronics for almost 50 years.

You can connect the device to the battery and leave it connected for ever, but when you use the charger and connect to the battery the device will be always giving you 100% charging until you disconnect the charger.

If the output current is more than 5 volts You can install a 100 ohm resistor To reduce the current to 5 volts However, the power source must be 9 volts

@@testtech8474 thank you sir, I guess I know where the mistake here. My voltage input using solar panel 5v, but the solar panel make 5.35v input instead of 5V. I assume the best practice for this module is that the input must be lower than 5V (not exact 5V).

You can use any batteries but you can't use total power of batteries more than 9v maximum and the Amp it will be 1.5 Amp if you are using 9v batteries
