Damn, I wish I had seen then live for this tour. I did see them live around this time, but it was without JC and the keyboardist. By that time, their energy wasn't as good and the replacement drummer sped up the tempo of their songs too fast. I did see them when JC returned for "The Arising Tour" and that was awesome!

Ever have one of those Monday mornings where you wake up and say to yourself, "I need to get my ass kicked by the Smashing Pumpkins?" Well, here we are.

This was about the last point from the early/mid period of the band that he actually sang the vocal lines to songs properly. He spent the next 4 years screaming himself horse during most shows.
@conannanoc87685 жыл бұрын
This song should have been bigger. It's the pumpkins firing in all cylinders. Probably too much going on even for 90s radio, though.

Man did I ever take the 90's for granted but who knew the harsh degree of horseshit music that was over yonder? the whole decade was based on pretty heavy real music and now, SHIT.

Good chance I've commented on this before but anyway... Jimmy Chamberlain is like a human drum machine -this song, the way he drives it, is mesmerising.
