I think Board members should use a picture of themselves instead of a letter when "off camera"; it would look more professional and easier to focus on content rather than the "business" of the Board. While I'm at it, the look should be uniform.

What is the plan for working parents would the work be sent weekly and the kids have a week to complete as a parent working with usps and everyone soon having to go back to work what if we cannot log on like 9am but when I finish work we can get the work completed

Teacher do work 190 days, but we put in much more than 8 hour days and we plan and prepare over our breaks as well. There is no way we can do what we do if we only planned during our one hour planning time. Furthermore, we spend more than 250$ a year of our own money on our classrooms and on our students as well.

So are we assuming working parents who have 8-5 jobs can stay home two days out of the week to assist their children with virtual learning without losing their jobs? Now we have to struggle to keep our jobs and our children educated.

atlien You are absolutely correct. Schools should be closed until the vaccine is produced. We have our own families as well. No one is worth me risking my life. By the way, we are not babysitters. We all have to do what we have to do to care for our own families during a time like this. This virus is serious. We have to stop making light of this deadly virus. Respectfully sharing my opinion from a teacher point of view.

I have the utmost respect for educators. I thank educators for all they do you guys have our children the majority of the time you help practically raise our children I know that's challenging and I appreciate you all. You are absolutely right Bridgett you guys are not babysitters by no means and your health and safety is very important I understand what the county is doing and by all means what has to be done has to be done to keep everyone safe. In a general sense I'm speaking on behalf of those where this can be a unfortunate time for many. Our new way of living will not benefit less fortunate. Everyone is use to the traditional "normal" way where the kids go to school and parents work. Everyone has different situations and this may or may not workout in everyone's favor. Everyone is faced with making a living or living. Praying for everyone during this time its not anyone's fault. God bless you all and stay safe.

Because parents that are in need of child care do not agree with the closing of school. Our children should be home in a safe environment until the vaccine is provided. My baby will not return until it is safe.
