Good review. I thought the movie was great. A good hard sci-fi story told through a crime noir setting. I appreciated the lack of info dumps and lack of hand holding. The animation is great. It's like a combination of the work of French artist Moebius and Sid Meier. It's a great film and I definitely recommend it.

What a bizarre movie. If I knew it was dubbed I probably would have seen a different movie with the A List pick.

I agree the movie mostly wasn't funny, but a few of Nadeem's lines made me chuckle. That was it tho. Everyone else in the theater was laughing, but I was just sitting there bored. I felt like a total buzzkill haha. Good review, I had similar things to say on my own channel.

I just saw it and enjoyed some of it but yah I didn't understand the point of many scenes and why Travolta and his deputy seemed so clueless. Kevin Dillon was pretty good.

Should review Avatar: The Way of Water

Okay. We didn’t really have any agenda when we went to see this film.I recommend this movie but not because it’s great. The plot is not important. What struck me was how one could possibly make a movie that involves: possession, the devil, archangels, Jesus, demons, a cult, biotechnology clones, auctioning babies, Catholics, an atheist, the anti-Christ, shroud of Turin, hell, and mass executions be not in the slightest bit scary, suspenseful, or even interesting. I mean it’s almost perfect in that it manages to weave a path that blithely ignores *every* possible direction the film should have actually gone. And I won’t even bother with the plot holes. Some of it was so unintentionally bad I burst out laughing in the theater. The irony is the acting was by and large not bad! Characters delivering their lines with stage-like earnestness. All for naught. So I’d recommend either lighting up or crack a beer. Just expect nothing and it may slightly outperform. Might even become a cult film someday.
