This was the last year in review and it’s also the weakest one by far. I remember being there when this came out and I was excited to see year in review return after a 6 year long hiatus but looking at it now, it’s just a bad attempt at nostalgia bait without any of the charm that made the older videos good. It feels so cheap and lazily made especially when compared to the other year in reviews. The tune in the background literally sounds like they grabbed random stock music from somewhere. Sadly JibJab has fallen. Their once funny videos are dead and in their place lies unfunny e-card videos catered to Facebook loving grandparents that enjoy minion memes. R.I.P Year In Review. It may seem like a bummer that there won’t be anymore but if the next YIR’s were going to be as boring as this one, then good riddance.

I agree. It also doesn't have the same sentiment, decidedly tipping for one political party whereas JibJab used to be cynical of both. Little did they know rising inflation, mandates, bank collapses, overwhelming immigration, and Afghanistan would tank 2021.

@@danclassic7065 Yeah that's great and all but there was no question that Bush was going to leave office in 2008. Given who Trump is patterning himself after (Putin) plus his direct statements on the matter, there is every reason to think that he's going to try and stay in office past 2028. The man has already tried to carry out a coup, and now he's back in office, and you expect me to relax? I feel like someone who's looking down at the Gulf after a major oil spill, and you're someone standing next to me going, "oh, look at how the oil makes the water look all rainbow-y! Isn't it so pretty?"
