I still look at bitcoin as Warren Buffet look at it. US government has to back up bitcoin cuz they use it to maintain the value of USD they print out every year. They can claim it links to terrorists or drug cartels, and ban it at any country at any time.

Hedging by opening an opposite position isn’t ideal. it adds costs like spread, rollover, ties up capital. maybe only helps to manage short term impact. Long term, it just accumulates costs. better just use stop loss or simply close the position. 😉
