They’re just Federal Signal buzzers, many of which used for fire alarm systems. The reason they are that loud is for fire alarm systems of course, but also so that they are audible almost anywhere, including inside your car.

Unlikely. Equipment seems original, and it matches the time period of the station itself.

If you could do a new Typhoon or a new Petit i360. Which would you do?

If I had infinite money I’d do petit. If I didn’t I’d do typhoon. Petit is only good if you can afford it, and at the high end I believe it’s 300k per machine. Typhoon is cheaper in price but also in build quality. Depends on how much money you have to throw at your wash.

@@carwashreviewsandmore7609 they actually price out about the same. I have found most Typhoons I have seen have not been properly maintained and therefore do not work well. The ones that work seem to clean well. I like both machines. The Typhoons rocker cleaner is great in that the machine does the work instead of driving through. IMO. Thank you for making all the videos and reply.

DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP!!! There is a reason for the poor reviews. Not only are the car washes over-priced but the company practices theft. I told the attendant I would only use the membership for a couple of months. He said I could cancel anytime. I ended up needing to cancel even sooner than I thought and to complicate things someone had pulled my sticker off. I feel like it happened because they did not adequately attach the sticker. I went into the car wash and asked to cancel and they said without the sticker I could not cancel. They jacked the price up to 39.99 without my permission. I called, emailed all the way to corporate and they said essentially 'too bad." I got the membership the same day as my granddaughter was born because my daughter needed a van with the new baby. AFTER 10 MONTHS we were able to find a picture that showed the van windshield that we took the same day as I got the the membership . I was finally able to cancel. Their system would easily show I did not use their car wash. No services rendered. This is theft and they know. THEY WILL HAPPILY STEAL FROM YOU AND NOT ALLOW YOU TO CANCEL. I pleaded with them to do the right thing and they do not care. Tons of complaints on Reddit and other forums. Big Surprise!

Dang did Comtec make it all the way up here past Colorado for once?? These machines are always expensive for some reason (with zero tri foam and zero wax/ceramic), and they STILL install NEW ones with the physical floor treadle which is one of the worst and most annoying ones out there. They are solid machines though and always wash very well.

F Tommy's carwash. They are so judging on who they hire around my area. They are a shady f'in company and never took blame for those wraps scratching cars, and it happened to mine. It only costs them like $0.02-$0.04 for a wash, and they way over charge. They will fight any lawsuit and pay for the best lawyers (gee, I wonder why they need lawyers). I used to work for them and know my way around the inner workings of that place.

Tommy’s is a much better company than you are describing. It’s very unlikely for those wraps to scratch cars. It costs much more than you are describing per car, top wash I estimate costs $0.15 per car, chemicals aren’t cheap. Also yeah of course they would fight lawsuits with good lawyers. They have only been sued a few times, just like any company. Tommy’s is not the company you’re describing.
