@@mrhooka8998 130k, I wore out the final drive back at 60k, being an asshat, trashing the car on drag radials, wheel hopping and tearing the thing apart. But really the only real problem is how bored you get with winning. DSG aren’t the smoothest trans and the older I get the more I feel it, but it’s a great trans for sure.

@@PrzFinest21x i recently bought an 14’th Gli with 107,xxx miles and as i don’t know how well my DSG was maintained im kinda worried, idk if these gen 3s have a different dsg than the older ones with gen 1 engine… Looking forward to make it stage 3 with cts boss turbo bolt on😁

Yes, fluid changes, adaptations, resets. It never fixed the issue sadly. But not upset, the TVS tune is MUCH better on track and they allow me to select the Launch control

In operation or construction? The operations is Automatic, it doesn’t have a foot clutch as the computer applies the clutches for you and the shifts can be either auto or paddle requested. The construction is as if it were a manual with 2 clutches that are controlled by the Trans computer instead of a traditional foot clutch. Hope that works.

Back then, The car was on APR stage 2 with JB4 tuned by GappinCheeks, adjusting fuel and boost. Now, I”You can use Reflect Tuning out of North Carolina.

I have a 2012 gli with an added traction control button so i can launch control but when i rev my rpm’s don’t cap at a certain rpm (i’ve heard it can be around 2.5k or 4k) and was wondering why cuz yours seems to cap

Best tune for the Boss Kit is from Reflect tuning. They really know how to make power. Same tuner we use for the GappinCheeks BIAGIO big turbo. The slippage came form my specific Box code. It was just a different, rare version. Most APR DSG tunes are solid.

Sell it and get a BIAGIO turbo. No, jk. You already got ripped off with the CTS/UNI combo. I would just keep it like that and enjoy. What you should’ve done was buy the turbo, then contact reflect tuning for guidance on fueling and tuning. Those guys make the most power on the Gen3 MK6 GLIs.

The UNI stage 3 is only for the CTS turbo, but the Fastest CTS turbo guys all run Reflect Tunes do to UNI/CTS rushing to release the tune without a means of adding fueling. Causing the “Big Turbo” to be as fast as a basic IS38 car. It’s pretty sad. UNI could’ve done so much better.

Yes, the stage 2 GLI with stock turbo is only really rated to go 13.5 at 105 and makes around 280hp. With the IS38 this car managed to go 11.6 at 117 and then 10.9 at 127 with a hybrid turbo

It was swapped out for a Treadstone TR8 within the year. The Neuspeed just wasn’t big enough to support the heat of a 345hp setup once I swapped turbos.

Hard to say, this was just a big collection of all my races when I was stage 2. Basic setup was APR stage 2 ECU/TCU tune, intake, Downpipe and exhaust, upgraded Intercooler, light weight wheels and decent tires.
