Nice! I fish in Sequoia National Park and they have huge native brown trout on the South Keawah river near the Southern entrance.

Yes I have actually. I have two on my wall that weighs a pound and the other one is just a little over two pounds. They are hard to find here in southern Virginia. Nice video by the way

I usually do but it was raining pretty hard that day. Everything was soaked. Had to dry out my fly box for days after that trip.

Good job getting out there, don’t beat yourself too much. For rivers and creeks role casting is great. The thing about fly fishing is it takes about 1,000 cast until you start getting the hang of things lol. The challenge is what got me addicted to fly fishing. Then making your own flies is an entirely different element of rewarding. Try dry casting at home with a hook removed from a fly. Definitely helps. Keep it up man!!!
