My Mixxx layout doesn't have that magnetic button. What version is this?
@DavidShimel
@DavidShimel 2 ай бұрын
I'm currently on 2.4.0. Is it just the magnet icon that's missing for you? If not, you might have the Deck Size set to "mini". Click the Settings button with the gear icon in the upper right corner, then set Deck Size to either Full or Compact. Alternatively, enable the Mixer section. I found this Reddit post which talks about a similar problem but no one posted a solution: www.reddit.com/r/MIXXX/comments/1e2v3hs/i_cant_find_my_loop_and_quantize_buttons/ You might also try going to Options -> Preferences -> Interface and clicking the Restore Defaults button.

I cannot get it to work on Windows 10. It crashes immediately after installing (opening the tool). Even when I set opening with Administrator rights and compatibility (W Vista, 7, 8). Regardless which version and architecture (2.2 to 2.4 - x32/x64) I install.... The older 2.2 version does have a bit more installation options for the tool, but even that hasn't a solution..

@@DavidShimel I've been having the same question. I think this person is talking about the transition where the first clip seamlessly crosses over into the next one, like something you would see in a movie sequence where the person is dreaming. It differs in ways it can be used, but what this person was talking about is overlaying 2 clips to make a seamless transition between the two. It's a basic tool a lot of editors use. But I can't seem to find anything about it, or how to do it on Capcut, let alone any KZbin tutorials. I'm not fully sure if this makes sense, but hopefully it does. If you find out if Capcut can make this transition, could you do a video about it? I'd love to finally figure out how to do it. Or, if you find out that Capcut doesn't have that option, could you let us know? Thank you in advance!

@@madfedererlaufeyson7539 I have the same issue. Its like CapCut is "too trendy" to use a simple transition like a crossfade and instead has a bunch of social media transitions for retention. I guess thats where they're marketing to.

@cuevak3160 do you mean like a Hi Mid or Lo Mid EQ knob to the mixer section of the Mixxx interface? Based on the docs (manual.mixxx.org/2.4/sl/chapters/preferences/equalizers) I don't think that's possible. However, you can configure other EQ parameters like filter type and crossover frequency.
