I know :D Sniping will never be dead, the only way to kill it is to have a headshot NOT kill at 10 resilience. Which I hope Bungie NEVER does. All skills should be rewarded in some way if a player can utilise them.

Helldivers is an insane amount of fun, best played with friends in my opinion. Usually I don't care about that kind of thing as a solo player, but the ridiculous physical comedy possible in that game is priceless :D

TBH I think a 4v4 playlist would be fun, destiny has never had a CTF mode before with rift being the closest thing to it but I think it'd be a fun addition. It would also be good to get extra perks in both slots on the comp guns if you're at max rank

I think CTF would or King of the Hill in Destiny would be awesome. I think something like Big Team Battle wouldn't function too well given how poorly Excision runs with 12 players. But if they wanted to add even larger maps with a bunch of different objectives, that could maybe replace or integrate into Gambit too? And with the extra perks you mean have 3x perks in both 3rd & 4th columns? That would really ramp up rewards for those top players, make the grind worth it.

The issue with that would just be the number of mods available and trying to balance the sandbox. If they limited it to certain activities it could be cool, as long as it stayed out of PVP

yknow whats worse than a lying seller? a gullible customer, the true fact is, bungie is a bunch of greedy low effort workers, as tough and edgy as that sounds, its the truth, i still remember the (rebuilding fallen camp) event in season of the splicer, there we had to do multiple stuff to farm stuff to upgrade stuff, and low and behold, nobody wanted to do that so bungie just forced the event forward, and what did we get, chairs, cutlery and some decorations, not even repairing shelters or removing rubble, the fact that at the time, they gave more effort into doing a secret mission tease for telesto ONLY for it to be an ad push for a telesto t-shirt shows you where their priorities lie, i also remember at the time of beyond light and witch queen, the reason i left the game, the community, i have geniuenly tried to love this game, the gameplay is phenomenal and its super fun i wont even lie, but the issue is, well everything else, story, optimization, content, microtransactions, the fucking prices of everything, its so bs, i remember trying to talk to my people about how bad this is and they either belittled me or said (if you dont like it dont play it) thats not the issue, the issue is that you people are standing there with open mouths while bungie throws bird poop at you, youre the reason they got away with getting dungeons be their seperate bought thing, when before beyond light, they were always included in the dlc, the first ever event pass was the solstice one from 2022 or 2023 i cant remember, it was the first time they showed this, 10$ for a pass that has fuck all and lasts like 2 weeks, who would buy this, why the destiny community who for some reason, reaaaaally want that transmat effect thats just a png, and it doesnt even add that much either, it was just an emote, a transmat effect, a ghost shell and thats it i think, with 10$ you could have bought the entire half life series on sale, wich is 10X better than what bungie ever wishes its game to be, people praised witch queen when it released on oh how good it is, and finally bungie is coming back, oh the multi billionaire company was having a hard time, they just got bought from sony, and where does that money go? the ceo uses it to buy vintage cars while people are getting laid off from bungie, i will always like destiny as a concept, its got potential, but i will forever refuse to acknowledge or respect anyone who defends bungie or sides with them after 2020, they lie, and you believe, thanks for listening to my whiney rant

That would still leave 2 campaigns out, even if they are shorter they still form integral parts of the narrative of the world. Plus the 20-ish seasons. I agree, anything pre-Shadowkeep that comes back should 100% be free.

At this point you’d need a reboot and rebranding of the package and the restructuring of the monetization systems. With Bungie and destiny 2’s reputation it’s just not enough now. And I am the player who has never given up on the game. But I am at an age I understand the game is still only falling further down the whole the longer it goes. Bungie can’t haphazardly fumble through making the same empty promise it’s just gone on for too long.

I think a good start would be a re-release of the original campaigns from D2 would work, kinda. Starting with Year 1 expansions and give them a balance update to reflect the modern sandbox. Make Ghaul a more challenging boss fight for Red War. Reintroduce Adventures which do a really good job of explaining the situations of various patrol spaces to the player without feeling like an exposition dump. Restructure the quest system so that it tells players what is actually next instead of the half-assed way it did things back then (and now too tbh). Put back in the World Quests which gave specific legendary weapons, which led to Exotic Quests for the paired weapon, a really neat feature. Do this for Year 1 content, gauge response and continue with Year 2, etc

That's just untrue - they didn't shut down Destiny 1 while they were making Destiny 2. And Destiny 1 is still active to this day, alongside D2. If they decide to venture towards making D3, they wouldn't shut down D2 to make it happen, they need the money like you said so doing that would make no sense. I think the decision to make D3 was pitched by Activision just before the release of Shadowkeep, that way the very first thing for D3 would have been Beyond Light and the introduction of Stasis. But Bungie told them making a whole new game from there would take too long and cost too much so it was better to continue working on D2. And here we are with a game that has a huge amount of cut paid content, numerous bugs and little hopes for major developments in the future.

World Activities are there mostly so free-to-play and solo players have a way of getting somewhat decent loot. Issue is almost all of them are kind of samey - a wave based boss battle with a bunch of adds and a timer. Blind Well, Altars of Sorrow, Wellsping, Terminal Overload, they're very similar in a lot of ways so I doubt they'll change up the formula for any of them, maybe just update the loot pool with sunset gear

I have only been playing since the drop of Lightfall. My two biggest issues are, needing to have my laptop open to youtube to get tutorial information while I'm playing the game. Second, I have a personal issue about buying an expansion that has been 90% gutted of content. The only reason I still play is because I got TFS as a gift. I might keep playing but I won't be buying the next dlc.

Anyone who has ever asked me about starting Destiny, I tell them not to. It is far too predatory in its sales, and far too sparse in its onboarding experience. The game is actively hostile to anyone who hasn't been playing it for years already. And yea, having most of a year's content removed when the next main expansion arrives is ridiculous.

Thanks for the tips! I'm aware all I need to do is hit the shield once then I can use guns and abilities. My gripe with this is that the Wizard is not meant to spawn up there, she is meant to spawn hovering on the hill side just above the Hive barricade, not all the way up the cliff like she is here.

I think we need a D3 a complete reset. A game built from the ground up with a system in mind around content/activities and story. Destiny 2 has sunset content, a horrible ui, awful new player experience, multiple expansions that need to be purchased for the game to be enjoyed properly, its story is stitched together and its reputation is in the dirt. But then people cry that they have to start again and lose everything 😮💨 Personally i just feel a new game built with purpose that would attract new players willing to jump in fresh is worth the risk rather than the one we got stitched together through trial and error after multiple course corrections.

Thanks for the response. I am honestly torn about whether or not Destiny 3 would be a good idea. From a business perspective, having a brand new game would be more likely to attract new players as well as the old guard coming from D1 and D2 to play it as well. Though a full new game would take many years to make, especially with so many of Bungie's employees having been scattered to other Sony projects and the remainder split between D2's ongoing development and Marathon's release/development. I think even with a fresh start in D3, D2 would still exist and the fact that it is horribly stitched together with so much of its important content just gone would still be a problem - at least for those who care about that kind of thing. If Bungie wants players to care about the narrative and experience, then they need to build the game to adhere to that, right now it is the furthest thing possible from that. I want Destiny 2 to be a complete Destiny 2 experience, but it isn't, and I am not hopeful that it will ever be.

I enjoyed the video 👏 it's always good hearing other people's opinions. As somebody who payed for every expansion and the base game who played them on launch bungie lost all goodwill from me the moment they vaulted campaigns I payed full price for. Red War is still a better introduction to the game than reusing the Destiny 1 introduction mission and then spamming the new player with whatever the latest seasonal quest is 😮💨 You are right tho with resources being stretched thin and the absolute horrendous running of bungie for multiple years I have little to no hope. It's a shame tho because they could do something really special and clearly people want a great destiny because nomatter how bad it gets they always come back with a big update. I couldn't even begin to suggest a way to fix the current narrative tho because you got years of seasonal stories just lost to the void. I can boot up D1 and play though all the campaigns it's a completed game for better or worse. I really enjoy the D2 gameplay I just with it's structure wasn't Frankensteins monster 🤣 My apologies for rambling on

Smallbore + Ricochet Rounds + Dynamic Sway Reduction + Incandescent is my roll. I really like it, it is a heavy frame so it shoots really slowly and reloads very slowly. But the damage per shot is nice and with Incandescent, the adds in this mission get cleared very easily.

First of all, congratulations on getting this thing solo, you're a beast! Secondly, i this gun is getting way more hate than it should. This thing is catered specifically for pve endgame. It stuns 2 champions inheritly and although it doesn't stun barriers, it can keep them putting up their shield. Its a 180 so it feels really nice to shoot. I do wish it had a different catalyst line headstone or shatter damage after freezing a target, but we all know its getting a buff soon. This is NOT a gun for low end pve and pvp (although the slow really messes with opponents) i really like this gun and I hope with tome people see the value in its utility.

Thanks a lot, that's a nice thing to hear! And yea, that would be my assessment if the gun too. I think it's a decent gun, but it's just not as good as other kinetic or even Stasis exotics. I liked using it, it felt good but the results were not as staggering as one would expect from the weapon Xivu Arath gave to us to entice us to her side.

It's clearly not as powerful as other exotics, and I don't think it was designed to be. I do think it's a boring catalyst. But the gun itself feels nice to shoot. But once the novelty wears off, I'm going back to Ace or Rose or No Time.

@@dave7474 I think it would have been cool if it were like the Needler from Halo. But this just brings it too close to Thorn and Malfeasance. Like I said, there are a lot of Destiny 2 exotic weapons. So it seems they just want to go back to the old way of just adding more perks.

I think I might do a guide for the solo completion, or just in general. I spent approx. 24 hours total attempting this mission so I learned a lot about it. Other than streamers and LFG's that do carries, I don't think many players will have that many hours in such a short time, certainly not solo at least.
