Over the next month I'll be building my first proper 5"! I'm really debating on what VTX I should go with 🫨 There are so many options. Glad I found you and hope your channel continues to grow.

@CalebTyler only used it 3 times, but it's amazing. It's super fast compared to my tiny woops as expected. floaty and fairly durable, smashed into a pole for my first flight. The pole just popped out of nowhere, but I do wish I could figure out the top speed

@francescobagnato9006 So is this your first non-tinywhoop? For top speed you could time the DVR between two points to calculate it. Or if you have a GoPro the gps can measure speed.

@francescobagnato9006 Action 4 doesn't have GPS. It'd be fun to try marking out 100 metres then measuring the time to travel it. You could calculate a top speed from that.

I haven't tried Walksnail yet. You could get the analog version and swap out the camera +vtx. It would be good if they sold a WTFPV ( Without FPV) version like BetaFPV do.

why did you change your goggles bc the goggles 2 are better then the goggles v2

I had the Integras first then I built an analog quad so I got the Gv2 and an analog adapter. Goggles v2 are much more comfortable and easier to see the entirety of the screens. Plus the refresh rate is considerably lower, latency with O3 sits between 25 to 30 ms.

I liked the build. You are a great guy. You do it well. A small tip. Try using other soldering tips for soldering. b2 is good for small parts, for thick power cables it is just hell. For power cables, C4 is good, you can also try K or KU. For other wires on FC, bc2 or d24 are good. My personal preferences are C4 and bc2.

As an experienced one, U should build first drone having a big frame like F450 frame(make this one cheap as you are learning, that's what i did)then come to 5 inch then come to smaller, that's better as u directly won't have to suffer from hard things at first

I tell all Fpv pilots about GoPro labs, a few other settings that are nice... Display a histogram on the screen so you know if the exposure is good, for color grading the custom flat profiles you can create and can also lower or even turn off the built-in noise reduction and have total control in post. GoPro labs, for me, has the GoPro still the top of the heap for Fpv footage from an action cam.
