You need to draw a space diagram as per scale. After drawing, situate resultant force as explained in video. Then measure the distance from p to k it will give exactly 51 cm. Also note that the resultant force is situated between force c and d. obviously it should be less than 55cm. Because the distance of 20 N force from the left 50N force is 55cm. Hence the distance of resultant force from left 55N force is 51 cm
