Doesn’t look as bad as I was expecting. Apart from the corner there appears to be a lot of trees and bushes between the path and ground level, although falling is still probably not a good idea.

I remember visiting Brush works at Loughborough when these were being out shopped brand new. Lines of them all gleaming and awaiting delivery. I suspect that anyone wanting to preserve one will have a good deal of work on their hands as they are rammed full of electronics that will need a pretty knowledgeable head. Given how resourceful railway enthusiasts are I’m sure that it will be managed.

Great effect.. Did you notice if the potato's were still there? One just inside the north portal of SE Tunnel, the other at the entrance to one of the adits..

i enjoyed that dave. i remember when i first looked at the moon through telescope and i still love it. i also remember seeing saturn for the first time and that still blows my mind. never gets boring. everytime i see orion in the winter sky a smile. theres something so reasuring about it all. love it.
