I just saw a video from a dermatologist who said that the only way to remove toxins is through the kidneys and the liver not sweat.
@PracticalHealthNowКүн бұрын
Shari, scientific research doesn't support that claim, and it's unclear what evidence this dermatologist is using. Please review the relevant papers on PubMed for more accurate information. Here are a couple examples - "Sweat iron and zinc losses during prolonged exercise" and "Excretion of Ni, Pb, Cu, As, and Hg in Sweat under Two Sweating Conditions".

The only thing that I would add to this regarding shoe size is that there should be 1.5 cm between the shoe and the longest toe (not necessarily the big toe). My second and third toes are longer than my big toe and this is true for many people.

Just out of curiosity, does this mean McDonald’s burgers wrapped in lettuce are healthier than oats? 🤔
@PracticalHealthNowКүн бұрын
Larry, thank you for the question! I feel like I'm not doing a good job explaining it. Yes, from a blood sugar perspective, McDonald's burgers wrapped in lettuce are probably healthier than oats. But that's only considering blood sugar. When we look at macronutrients, vitamins, minerals, and so on, I doubt that a McDonald's burger is better than anything else :)
