I have always been super interested in flat track bike racing and hooligan/super-moto racing. I come from a motocross background but I’m way too old and beat up to do that anymore, especially at anything like a competitive level! I also have a decent amount of open wheel dirt track car racing as well which seems like it could be relevant. Regardless of the type of racing, I’ve always been at least as interested in the technical aspect of it (suspension setups, engine building/optimization, pit strategy, etc.) as I have in the actual racing experience. I’m that dude that was much more a fan of Chad Knaus than Jimmy Johnson! Anyway, watching you guys run on this particular track, I was seeing what seemed like a lot of rebound from the inconsistencies of the track and they seemed to cause a lot of issues keeping the bike leaned over and being able to stay on the throttle and keep your line. Would locking that rear shock down a bit help that? Or maybe softening the compression and having as little rebound as possible? I guess what I’m asking is, what’s the “standard” or the “normal” goal for this style of racing as far as suspension setup is concerned? I appreciate any info you can provide and if you’re too busy, feel free to ignore me! Thanks for the video man!!

@@dancahoon636 I used to live and race in Texas, I can remember endurance racing on my TL1000 at Texas Motor Speedway in Bryan Texas where 107 would be considered comfortable. 😉 I have never seen these super TT races before. It kind of looks like the racing for TV from the early 80's where they brought racers from different disciplines to compete and the tracks had components from each of the disciplines. So road racers, flat trackers and motocrossers and the tracks had some of each type of racing on every lap. As I recall the motocrossers always won.
