I am American but of Welsh ancestry. How I love hearing the Welsh sing. Many years ago, we would sing Welsh hymns in church on St. David's Day. Sadly, those days are gone. Our Welsh identity is no more. Just American now. Don't let too many immigrants do this to Wales.

A proud Englishman here who hates the Welsh rugby team with a passion (grew up in the 60s and 70s when we ALWAYS lost to Wales) but have also always had the utmost love and respect of Welsh all male voice choirs (and Max Boyce). Magical and utterly captivating. Should be considered by the UN for being classed as a World Heritage item.

My dadwas born in Pontypool and lived in Coventry. When Wales played he said may Wales win, When England played my England win but when England played Wales he used to say may the best team win!! (Deep down he wanted Wales to win).

I’m English but been living in wales. I kid you not , you will not meet a nation as fiercely proud as the Welsh. Match day is something else. Especially when they play England.
