I have been crocheting and knitting for 40 years and this is the worst written pattern I have ever seen. Using the videos helped, but I bought the pattern for relaxation and have had nothing but stress. It’s finally finished but is too small to actually be functional. Not happy at all!

What a clever combination of the honeycombe and elements of your double twist cable from the green scarf and burgundy cardigan! I can’t decide between this one and the winter white tutorial you made! What’s the difference? This one looks a bit warmer and thicker!
@BonnieBayCrochet3 күн бұрын
The Winter White is a larger throw and will require more yarn to complete. It's design is more symmetrical, where as the Celtic Cable Throw is a sampler.

@stephaniecanales11483 күн бұрын
Hi Ms.Bonnie. I purchased the pattern, however I have yarn specified for a 5mm hook. How any chains do I need to make the throw size?
@BonnieBayCrochet3 күн бұрын
What kind of yarn do you have? Often times the yarn recommends a smaller hook than can actually be used. If the yarn is a #4 (or worsted weight) you should be fine with the larger hook.
@stephaniecanales11483 күн бұрын
@@BonnieBayCrochet I have lion brand mandala but whatvi did do was double it up and it seems fine so far.
@BonnieBayCrochet3 күн бұрын
@@stephaniecanales1148 ok, that’s a #3 weight yarn. Would be better to stick with an H size hook using a single strand. If doubling the yarn you could even bump up to the J if you find the fabric too stiff.
