Hi Bobby! I ordered a special grade Garand when I was there 12/20/24. My nics check was delayed but Chancy called me 12/23 and finished the purchase, it arrived to my gun shop in less than 24 hr! Arrived Christmas eve! Great present for myself! Happy new year to all at CMP!

What I love about this is these are not just rifles, they are pieces of history. To receive one that you are fortunate enough to track some of that history, thats something special. To me, this is far better than some remake of a classic, it is the classic. Each one of those marks, pits, scratches has a story behind it. 🇺🇸

Got my m1 expert and it was damaged. Case and bix intact. Cpm did not check the weapon properly when packaging. Called like 12 times and sent 4 ails still no response. Beware

My rifle was to have a new stock! We'll it looks new on one side and links like it was dragged across the cement on the other side. They are a scam!

Why do I have to go through a convoluted process, as well as purchasing a membership to a club I'll never be apart of, just to order a Garand through the mail? I genuinely do not understand the point.

These rifles have literally went through a world war... $1,185 for a beat-up rifle is borderline ridiculous! Receivers have deep pitting rust, and you have to pay extra for a stock that isn't beat up... seriously? Over 5.4 million m1 garands produced (by the lowest bidding compay, as cheaply as possible as fast as possible) they are NOT rare by any means. Their NOT in pristine condition by any means. Why... how. .do you justify asking such a RIDICULOUS amount for these surplus turds?

The most ridiculous procurement process I’ve ever seen. I’d rather pay scalpers prices than to jump through all those hoops you just mentioned and good lawd the tallied up wait times are worse than tax stamp approval times. It’s as if you don’t want to sell them.

I just got myself a M1903a3 and got myself a sling since it didn’t come with one. But that sucker was all messed up. I had to take both buckles off essentially to get it right. Exactly what I get for buying a $5 lend lease sling.

What a GREAT place to shoot! This place is like a resort. You owe it to yourself to go there. Vintage Sniper is a fun, fast match. Shot there in 2023, couldn't make it this year from Ohio. See you in 2025. 🙂

You cannot believe how envious I am here in the UK. Handguns are banned. Generally rifles are only permitted for deer and vermin shooting. The police look for any excuse to take the licence away. Being a military enthusiast the nearest I can get to owning one is my 1940 five digit deactivated M1

It is hands down an amazing facility and near cathedral of gun rights.

This place is like a resort! You can buy a rifle and ammo, walk out to the range and shoot and/or compete with it. Been there several times (drove down from Ohio), and will go again. :)

Aw man I kinda regret my trip to the Anniston store now, looks like there's more rack space to choose from here. Wonder if they're able to pull up my documents I gave them for my club membership at the other store there-
