These plugins will still be usable for at least another decade! Sometimes, paid plugin packs are very organized and intuitive but there's just so many free that offer everything if not more and people are lazy. *With all that said, I end up with VST folders jam packed with crap to delete because the problem with free plugins is there's literally in the tens of thousands of them.* AcmeBarGig, Eugeny Pedals and the LePou amp packs are all anyone could ever possibly need with the exception of a few stand alone free plugins like tube screamers and such. *Ultimately though, I think most of us have so much physical hardware we have invested into the mere IDEA of paying for VST modeling plugins is fucking ridiculous!* I have well over a dozen high end amps in real life, *and on top of the fact I have a formal background in the science of electrical/electronics engineering! lol* I've now moved onto 100% original designs I build with my mind and hands that nothing on earth can compete with.

Star was replaced cuz the Warrior. I do love the reverse headstock though. I have 3 Jackson Warrior's so I am kinda a fan of the design style the real draw back for the warrior and Star is guitar stand. If yer stand is not high enough the body touches grass. Use rolled up socks to raise it.

I have probably dozen guitars like this But I collect guitars, I dont play them bcz Idw to Crack A Point..I have very rare Dime Bag with British Flag that came with broken point top headstock But all my others are Prefect bcz I keep them that way being Xtra Careful when handling the guitars, when I play say Yngwie Strat Idh worry abt hitting into something & only way to do-it in close quarters is to sit while playing the guitar which is fine But not if I go somewhere to play, Anyway the reason most people do Not buy pointy guitars is they dont want Crack a point on there guitar, most normal guitar players also dont have 103 guitars either, so they don't want hurt 1 of there say 1/2 dozen guitars Because It Will Really Bother Them If They Do Crack A Point, my 2cents abt Why😵💫🇺🇸🐾

Great demo man, can i ask, in your experience are these good for metal because I have them in my yamaha pacifica 612 vii fm completely stock and with higher gain they sound somewhat muddy and lacking articulation, emphasis and punch so I am trying to figure out what could be the problem and if I should raise or lower my pickups or the pole pieces in my pickups, could I also ask how high your pickups and pole pieces are please and thank you
@AleArzMusic2 ай бұрын
Hello, thank you very much for the comment. Yes, Custom 5s are definitely good for high gain heavy metal, they're my favorite bridge pickups! It sounds strange that you're getting a muddy tone, they should sound crisp and heavy. As for the pickup height and overall guitar setup, I always follow Jackson owner manuals, just Google it and you'll get the official PDF files with every measurements explained. If you still get a bad tone after that, there might be some electrical issue with your tone knob or volume knob or selector or output jack.
