Such a perfect understanding of movements and timing. japanese animators are the best artists you can imagine. People thinks anime isn't as good as Disney style of animation, but give them enough budget to allow them to make as many inbetween as Disney's movies have and you'll have a result that no westerner animator could even be close to.

Who the hell do they think they are!? Just kidding. But seriously, how can they keep track of all those details?
@Bing4988y Жыл бұрын
they use layers on not digital drawing but paper. first character animation with rough effects They then trace the character animation on one paper and then they trace the effects animation on another paper after that is done they then on the character animation paper put the finished effects on there aswell.

@@Bing4988y Interesting! Sounds like you have actual experience on this kind of pipeline? Still, wouldn't it make more sense to keep the effects on a separate paper/layer all the way until the digital composition stage? Also, what do you think of the shot at 1:38? It seems intensely complex to clean up and color, not to mention composite. It looks like something that would take many clean-up passes and many notes to complete successfully

Kind of love that for most of the keyframe animation I stumble over they leave a lot of the fine movement out to the inbetweening... Except that one particular bodypart of females... No inbetweening work needed there. It's all taken care of to the most intricate detail of physics...

I could probably watch a complete season of only rough key animation... It's just so oddly fascinating.

I love when people gives kudos to masters of animation as if they were still learning... Do you can't differentiate an animation from an amateur and a profesional?
