If you have tactile switches dont you have to worry about lubing one side of the switch? I've seen in another video you gotta be careful on the leaf spring side because you can lube out the bump

Genuinely if you're gonna lube your own switches, take the full effort to take them apart, theres so much lube on the outside stem its just inviting all the dust and nasty stuff to stick to the keyboard, the lube is meant to be INSIDE the switch housing, not all over the outside of the switch. Thats gonna get dirty and crunchy sounding in a week

If you want better quality you can also lube the stems but ONLY THE STEMS. Bag lubing springs are part of it, but only bag lubing is not enough I think.

@@RockAlloyi did it a week ago and the switches are okay. it doesn’t ruin the switches.
@RockAlloy6 ай бұрын
@tac23179 it does most of the time. It can sometimes go between the metal causing it to rust quicker or makes the slider have not enough friction or push to make it back up.
@MangoGalaxyYT4 ай бұрын
You won't break your switches by opening them. That's how they were created. If you don't mind then you should just open them, bag lube your switch springs and lube just the stem. That would actually be much faster than this.

It's decently good quality. It isn't that expensive and the specs are pretty good. That's just the norm for light mice. Like they put holes in them so they don't take too much weight. So it makes them look cheap, but they don't feel cheap.

Excessive lube job, but this is the go to lazy method. It works to an extant. To get better sound and feeling do the proper method by disassembling the switch and lubing the POM, spring, stem. overall 10/10 tutorial.😁

overall 2/10 tutorial at max. he overlubes the SHIT out of that switch and he also is very bad at lubricating the switch, even the lazy way, so definitely not a very clear demonstration.
