I had my CG back about 190mm on first 2 flights. It flew great but was pitchy like yours on final approach. I moved CG forward to about 180-185mm and it is much more stable on final. Still flies great and is near neutral on 45° inverted up line. It’s much easier to land now.

Hi Gary thanks so much for the input. Will inform both pilot on your CG recommendation. Happy flying.

How did it feel. Landing looked a little pitchy which could be pilot or aft CG. Have mine at 185 and it feels close to tail heavy. Thanks

Hi there you said CG flys great at 180 185 just trying to get mine ready to go trying to get info from everyone that has flights done, appreciate any help , thanks
@RCAviator5 ай бұрын
Hi Mike ... base on two maidens and input from the pilots ... 190 mm might be a good CG to start off. Wish you a good and successful maiden with your F-22. After witnessing both maiden, I would say minimum start off with at less 185 mm. First maiden F-22 ... pilot removed the nose weight which came with the plane ... but he use 2S 4000 mHa LiPo battery at the way back in the nose and 3S 3000 mHa LiPo battery at the electronic compartment all the way to the front. Second maiden F-22 keep the factory nose weight in place but use one 3S 2300 mHa LiPo in the all the way back in the nose compartment and another 3S 2300 mHa LiPo all the way to the front in the electronic compartment. Hope I am not confusing you with all these information.

Pilot make a mistake with aligning the elevator with the tail part of the fuselage. As the two tail part was a bit uneven resulted in the elevator no properly aligned. As a result, pilot was not able to trim the plane for a stable flight. Pilot corrected the mistake in his second flight second day after the maiden flight. It fly well now.

Hi Most area in the East are "No Fly Zone". The only possible place that you might be able to fly is at CD fields Located at the intersection of Tampines Industrial Ave 2 and Tampines Industrial Ave 3. But you need to apply for permit to fly there and notify RSAF when you fly. Currently no permit is issued due to RSAF training schedule.
