Cool bike and cool video. My dealership here north of Seattle has the 24 TX300’s for about $11,300. Planning on getting a 24 or 25 in late 2024 ( no money til then 😤 ) gonna get the Rockstar graphics kit. Not a fan of the gray n yellow plastic. Nihilo makes better start / stop buttons. They also sell a remote back up start button. My buddy just got a 23 KTM 300SX and it’s fast 💨

I have a KTM 300 XC-W. It's a terrible bike for the Mojave desert. I made a bad purchase. Should have stuck with Honda's 450X.

@OldManWibble Too light, isn't stable. And that's after suspension work. Plus every time I touch it something breaks and I'm a mechanic. My Hondas have been the opposite of that. I'm of the opinion that KTM'S are overrated.

Interesting. I'm on a yz450fx that is great everywhere except in the really rocky stuff. Was thinking of switching to the 300xc but now I'm having second thoughts 😊

@OldManWibble I crashed on that 300 more in the first 2 months than I did in the 12 years of being on the 450X. Your choice, maybe find one you can ride out where you do.

Man, that sounds crisp. I know you mentioned, generally speaking, that the fork was awesome. but how'd it feel navigating through all the rocks/trail hack in the TP/Cement Creek area? Harsh, deflect at all,etc?

It took a while for the forks and bibs to break in but it’s the best stock KTM .. or Husqvarna setup so far, I like my suspension stiff tho, I’m pretty impressed so far tho.

@@DezertSlayer I rode one a few weeks ago.. back to back against my 2022 Yamaha yz250fx. At speed the TX rear slammed a few times on square edges.. might just be clicker settings .. But the yami was smoother at higher speeds and landed better on the bigger jumps. The KYB is very hard to beat.. it’s still the benchmark.. Having said that.. I’ve got my name down on one because it’s just such a versatile bike.. my yami hates the creek beds and really tight harder enduro stuff whereas the husqy is so plush when it’s in the slower nasty stuff and beats it hands down. Keep posting stuff bro. Love the vids 👍🏼👍🏼

There's a big difference between 23&24 bikes in terms of prices. If you want the current version you always pay ceiling price

Just rode this trail a few weeks ago. Epic! The creek section kicked our azz's though. Wish we would've found the bypass section beforehand. Ughh! Anyway, have a 24' TX coming in June. Still undecided if I should sell my 18' TE-300 carbed bike. It's sooo good.
