Ouch, why on earth someone would not do buy orders in a situation like this is beyond me. You could of kept probably close to half your gold if you just waited 3 - 5 days and placed all buy orders. Credit for the Jojo music thou, it was entertaining.

Wooden potatoes did the same thing once with his infusion. Crafted some sort of monkey lunar new year backpack. Infusion was slotted into the previous version of the backpack. Just like you support gave him the infusion back.

cheaper to make the gifts from crafting I think. At least long term. If you make more then 3 if any of the gifts (which you will) it's better to spend the 10g and learn to craft on a character.

tbh making the precursor for nevermore made me quit for over a year.

ive never bought tier 5 mats, just farm season 4. honestly. i legit had 1000 of each not too long ago just from farming season 4 maps turning all the currency into volatile and buying the shipments. and for people saying "that costs gold" you earn way more than you spend its a disgusting profit and if you upgrade the tier 4s you get into tier 5s(not all check which is profitable) then you get even more gold.

2k gold + the time sink to complete the achievements just to get the precursor is the main factor that prevents me from crafting any gen 2 weapons. It's all just a waste for me when you can get a gen 1 for just 1.2k or a gen 3 for 1.4k if you just craft them.

Yes, I've crafted 22 Legendary weapons over the past 9+ years (sold 1, the trident, to get gold to buy the precursor for Twilight greatsword, and kept the rest). The more I crafted, the easier it got. All of them were Gen 1 Legendary weapons, except one Gen 2, which is my Short Bow, Chuka & Champawat, because I can't stand the sound that the Gen 1 Short Bow, the Dreamer, makes. I turn off the sound of other players items, just so I don't have to listen to that short bow horse whinnie sound, from the Dreamer short bows. If any new players want some tips on how to craft Legendary weapons, I'd be happy to help, plus there are a few good YT videos on the topic if you search for them. My advice is to craft the Legendary back piece and trinkets (rings, earrings, and amulet) first, your Legendary armor for your most used character armor weight second, and Legendary weapons last. Legendary Runes and Sigils are nice, but I guess I would do them last, after weapons.

Congratz! I already have the BiFrost Legendary Staff, but want to craft Nevermore for the looks to use with my Ranger/Druid. There are a few other Gen 2 Legendary weapons that look really great as well, so even though I already have at least one of every type of Legendary weapon, and dual daggers, & pistols, I'll eventually get around to crafting the Gen 2 Legendary scepter, focus, and Pistol, just for looks. I refused to own the Dreamer short bow, which is why the only Gen 2 Legendary weapon I have crafted so far is the Chucka & Champawat short bow. Gen 2 Legendary weapons take more time (and probably gold) to craft than the Gen 1 Legendary's. I don't care for the Gen 3 Legendary weapons, so I'll probably never try to craft any of them, though some of the variants look a little better than the standard Aurene style.

Gratz, it was also my first legendary and it was the most hellish one I had to make since starting gw2 even compared to the others I made after. 🎉

I just made Quip after getting the legendary starter kit from the astral vault a couple weeks ago. I love them for adding something like that. It made crafting a legendary something actually attainable for casual players that don't have a lot of time to play. Hope they add one for this staff soon.

So i finished bifrost so that i can sell them. At the end i dont even has gold to list it in tp and had to begrudgingly bind it my self LMAO 😅😅😅😅😅😅

crafting nevermore almost broke me. mentally. it was one of the hardest things i ever did. finishing college was easier than this shit.

My first legendary was Exordium then my second was Bolt. I was so pissed making a Gen 2 legendary! So many damn gold sinks! It's maddening!

Congrats!! I wanted to make this but never get the motivation enough to do it. lol Instead I make things for fashion wars like Nightfury and Winter's Presence. lmao Some tips for next time. Don't pay the 10 ecto tax buying the gifts from Lyhr. You can purchase the recipe from any Mystic forge attendant and craft them. Then you put the gifts into the mystic forge in order to create the Gift of Condensed Magic and the Gift of Condensed Might. You would save yourself quite a few ectoplasm. Also put in bids for the items you want and you can convert some T5 to T6 mats. Each week you can see which map has the mats you need and do events on that map. You can also do Drizzlewood and lastly you can buy Trophy Shipments if you have a lot of volatile magic. If you get something you don't need, then just sell to recoup some costs from the mystic coins!

Grats! I remember when HoT first came out, I grinded for Nevermore back when grinding for it was REALLY grindy, and before it got easier. I almost quit the game after I finished, it was that grindy. I said at the time that Nevermore was a good name for it.. because after I crafted it, I said "never more".
