This is already soldout, but I'm one of the lucky and fortunate few. Acquiring this book was pretty cheap for me. I can't wait to receive it and enjoy it <3

I really love this film, Intrigued to see how Kingsley creates art on a computer like a traditional artist yet is able to utilise the digital aspects too. Listening to them both really made me want to read Malorie's writing. Shame on me for not knowing about the book. I'd love the signed version by Folio but a tad over my budget so will hunt down the paperback. But loved this film very much. Thank you for creating it.

I saw the regular editions on the site are sold out and it says they’re coming back sometime this year. Any chance the standard editions get a refresh inspired by this edition? Kinda like the cheaper standard versions of Book of the New Sun after the limited edition run of those.

Alas - I missed out on this set myself, and wouldn't really have been able to justify the expenditure anyway - but the standard editions are seeming a little long in the tooth now, and rather mismatched, so if The Folio Society can release a new standard edition set to complement the style of these - similar to the most recent 70th Anniversary Deluxe Illustrated Edition by HarperCollins (which is pretty close to these in many ways) - and retail it for less coin, I'd be sure to add it to my collection. I note that something similar was done for the recent editions of Dracula and Frankenstein, both of which have stunning standard versions to almost match their limited edition counterparts, so surely the same is achievable here?! (And with The Hobbit!)

My hope is Harper Collins will release a matching edition to this years 70th anniversary edition, which will hopefully include the changes and new paintings for this edition. Even though the price is too steep for me, I think the 2022 LOTR and 2024 Hobbit Limited Editions are the most beautiful books I have ever seen.
