So, I understand that in Pittsburgh taxi's are zero-to-nothing to haul over, and that the demand is in dire straights. A news correspondence is doing an expose on Sadan's Taxi for instance: And, it is too funny when people are actually on the streets yelling for one. What could be the big coohoo in Pittsburgh?

It seems to me that This woman was treated poorly from the beginning to the very end. The end meaning when they literally KICKED her out. Of course they tried to save her some humiliation by incorporating in her choice for retirement. Of course the public would eventually find out the truth as always. It’s so sad to think that poor women still to this very day must endure so much to prove themselves! It was heartbreaking to hear her nervousness & her stuttering during the interview. of course it’s not the reporters fault,they’re just doing their job if it wasn’t for the media/news reporters etc, the public wouldn’t even know the many injustices that go on. Of course there’s always 2 sides to all stories; with that being said if there were any discrepancies or fraud on her part then by all means the necessary steps had to be taken. However as a law student who follows these small yet unique stories would have to bet on the sad fact that they simply wanted to replace her with a more favored individual. The most unfortunate part of this story is that this poor woman’s legacy at this university will always reflect in the negative regardless. Simply because that’s just how things tend to flow in a world of complicated injustices.

She can't understand how people can turn away from this because she didn't live with the decades of him abusing alcohol and everyone in his life, which preceeded and caused his condition. She admits they weren't a close contact family before this. She wasn't there to witness or be the brunt of the abuse. The ones that went through it during the abuse phase are the innocent victims deserving of some understanding and moral support.

@@marshalljimduncan I worked in many departments from working directly on the ward with special mentally challenged adults which was the most difficult to Vocational services to recreation services and finally to Social work services. I basically liked working at Mayview, even though it had a edginess to it. It did have its ups and downs over the years but all in all I enjoyed working there. I never had any problems working there after 32 years, though I felt more challenged as a Social Worker which I retired as. It seemed to fit me better. It may sound easy to work in Recreation but it had its challenges, though it was mostly fun, I have to say. I have no complaints with the staff, all in all. I always tried to get along with everyone.

My mom was diagnosed 2 months ago, age 66. She does not have the advanced form of the dementia, her long term & short term memory are great. It’s her body that’s not cooperating. She shakes uncontrollably when trying to make purposeful movements like eating or standing. She hasn’t walked since the day she left the hospital. Wernicke is the strangest syndrome I’ve ever encountered. I feel it’s a widely unknown syndrome and not many experts in the field. It’s sad and frustrating to witness.

Dr J Cantor from Boston explains why pedophiles usually can’t be rehabilitated, IT’s THEIR BRAINS‼️ after studying a group of convicted, incarcerated molesters, he discovered in addition to lower IQ, shortness of stature & left-handedness, that pedophiles have a significant white cortex “BRAIN ABNORMALITY” which results in “cross-wiring” of their sexual responses being directed to children instead of to other adults … so they are literally fighting against the hard-wired urges in their own brains … maybe corrective brain surgery lies somewhere in their distant future? … Meanwhile Dr Cantor provides some realistic hope in posing the idea that people who recognise these problems in themselves should be able to come forward and present themselves for treatment so they can avoid committing the crime of sexual acts on minors … he states that driving these people underground is only making matters worse & is not keeping our kids safe Dr Cantors research (combined with data on some well known “grooming techniques” such as generosity with gifts, befriending child’s family, regularly trying to be alone with a child/ children or being always available to “care” for them on behalf of parents etc) should help all of us parents tune in our radar to pick-up on pedophiles no matter how charming they are (Ref: By: Dr James Cantor … 2014 & 2019 MRI Results: Brain scans of pedophiles)

Both my parents developed dementia in their latter years. It was a very sad thing to watch happen. Dementia Can happen to individuals in old age. It should be made aware to people when teenagers are at high school, Taught in a subject. Not left as a surprise to individuals, when it happens in families. It can be a difficult issue For families to deal with, if it happens.

This interview leaves a lot unsaid. Paedophilia and child molestation are two completely different things. Paedophilia is a sexuality. Child molestation is an action. It is the action of child molestation that harms a child. 30 - 50% of child molestation cases are perpetrated by paedophiles. That means that 50 - 70% of child molestation cases are perpetrated by non-paedophiles. These non-paedophilic offenders are what is known as 'surrogate offenders', they use a child for sex gratification as a surrogate for an adult. These offenders may have psychopathic tendencies, have impulse control issues, or some other disorder. Paedophile men are no different at controlling their sexual urges compared to your average heterosexual or homosexual male. In fact, 80 - 95% of paedophiles do not offend. And it is the worst of that 5 - 20% that the mainstream media reports on, which gives this false impression of what paedophilia even is. A non-paedophile is just as likely to look at Child Sexual Exploitation Material (CSEM), or sexually exploit a child just as a paedophile can. Paedophiles are among every social group in society; the police, nurses, firefighters, teachers, professors, doctors, lawyers, religious members, clubs, etc. Though, they are hidden because they can see the misunderstanding the public has on the subject. This is a societal issue, and we must abandon the mainstream narrative which is based on public emotions, and instead adopt a perspective based on science and logic. Without this necessary foundation toward solving this social issue, it will only continue, and we'll only have ourselves to blame for not educating and informing ourselves on the facts.

Child molestors and rapists have personality disorders called antisocial personality disorders which is same thing as psychopath and sociopath since you don’t see terms sociopath and psychopath in DSM or ICD and doctors don’t diagnose those terms anymore and also narcissistic personality disorders is common among rapists and child molestors because of power and control factor. Personality disorders are classified as mental health disorders in all countries except for The United Kingdom which is odd.
@somexp12

@Rise Over here305 Only a subset are antisocial. Antisociality, however, is predictive of both recidivism as well as their tendency to engage in the more heinous forms of this offense, involving aggressive and conscious manipulation (the sort who'd blackmail or threaten kids into compliance and silence). There are other factors than antisocial that make it possible for someone to do this. Intoxication (maybe alcohol, maybe meth), for example, accounts for a number of cases. Also a good number are intellectually or socially impaired and rationalize that they're on a level playing field with the child.

Pedophilia must be accepted as the true sexuality it is. DSM is pseudoscience.
@chronophilos5606
@chronophilos5606 2 жыл бұрын
Well the DSM-5 looks to do a risk assessment. Someone might be a paedophile, but not qualify for paedophilia disorder. Which means they aren't in need of treatment, because there's no indication that they are exhibiting unhealthy thoughts / behaviour. But the political / legal system (except for Germany and India) is currently set-up in such a way where both, paedophile and those with paedophilic disorder are met with the same punishment. This approach to a subject - where paedophilia is among all social groups - only pushes them further underground where it makes it harder to understand and help these people with this biological trait they were born with.
