Wooow very helpful but now my question is how can the columns be organized such that the maximum loading can increase downwards. That is there is a situation whereby bigger reinforcement occurs at the upper part of the column than the starter bars which is obviously unreal.

the weight per unit area of a 225mm block is 2.87KN/m2 and the wall finishing is 0.3KN/m2 for one side but on both sides is 0.6KN/m2. add 2.87 and 0.6 will give you that 3.47KN/m2

Thank you for your help, please I have difficult to how to add slab to different height of column lower than the others in the same floor. Like column height of 3m and 2m in the same floor how can I place a slab on the 2m column apart the base slab

For you to be able to insert your slab on a lower or higher level, you will have to create a different floor level. For example a 2m and 3m height columns and the building is a single floor. During insert floor, instead of imputing 2 floors , you insert 3 floors. Then edit the floor height. Storey 0=3m Storey 1 = 2m Storey 2 =1m Storey 3 =3m

I tried to carry out fe batch chasedown floor mesh analysis in protastructure but the analysis is only succesfully completed for 1st and 3rd floors. error message read " FE batch chasedown aborted. storey 2 check the FE slab model". how do I fix it?

check the second floor if there is any point not properly connected. after that didn't work, then try and remodel the structure and see if anything changes

Thanks for the video but can i ask how one will combine the beam report since prota treated each beam as a single beam(e.g Beam from grid 1-5 as 4 beams) while during editing is treated as Beam 1

Ramp can also be analyze as slab. The only difference is just the slant elevation of the ramp

My problem is I'm getting sparse solver error, and when I turn sparse solver off too, the analysis doesn't run...... And there's a void in my model that I can't put slab there, I've tried all the intersections but it's not picking
