Yes and no. The game counted this as beating him, but it felt really unsatisfying, so I reverted the save to my backup from the end of last stream (I hadn't done anything but fight him since then). So far I haven't managed to get another winning run on him.

@@BlackCavaIier Honestly my confidence just built up over time as I did more streams. When I first started on Twitch about 4-ish years ago, I was really nervous and spoke very quietly, but I just forced myself to do streams and gradually got more confident. I'm afraid I can't really offer anything more useful than "it built up with experience". I do still get a bit nervous before every stream, I don't think that ever goes away completely. It's just that now once I'm playing and chatting with people I forget about it.

This specific challenge only took a few attempts, but only because I've had a lot of practice playing invisible from all the previous challenges I've done. (And lots of practice in the game in general; I have about 400 hours in Hollow Knight.) It's mainly about trusting in muscle memory and playing cautiously, especially in sections with spike floors or flying enemies. The game also offers little hints like the dust when you walk, the faint light around the character, or the nail swing and wings animations that you can use to pinpoint where you are.

Thanks! I played a lot of the original, so my thoughts on the remake are pretty in-depth. TL:DR; I like it and I think it generally does a great job as a remake. Some things I'm not a fan of, but with the exception of the new military system, they aren't big enough issues to harm my enjoyment. I can't really say it's better than the OG or vice versa, because it's mostly the same game, and the OG, being my first video game, will always hold a powerful nostalgia that could skew my assessment. I love the upscaled graphics of the buildings, the environment and so on, the new music arrangements are absolutely incredible, and I think there are a lot of improvements particularly in the areas of settings and customisation. It's added lots of options in the settings.. I'm a huge fan of the flat mode overlay, the keyboard shortcuts, the uncapped zoom and the ability to set whether bazaars, storage yards, and granaries accept everything or nothing by default. I think it also has a slightly smoother feel to it in general, and obviously the native widescreen support is fantastic. Achievements are also always a plus for me. In terms of things I preferred about the original, the military system is the most major thing for me. For this playthrough I'm doing monument focused missions when available because military (at the moment) is a question of the computer determining which side wins based on your troops and defenses versus their troops. I really enjoyed the real-time strategy system of the original game, so I'm sad about that not being back, but they have said a military revamp is under consideration, so I'm holding out hope. I miss construction blessings as well, which aren't in the game; or at least, aren't yet, maybe they'll add them. I'd also like there to be more granularity in the game speed settings. In the original game it was a percentage, which I preferred to the 0.5x - 1x - 1.5x - 5x system they have at the moment. I personally don't like the graphics of animated characters; the cartoony 3D models are not my thing and I don't think they fit with the style of the game, but I can easily look past them. I also much preferred the old UI. I don't like the trend of "modernising" graphics; I think all artifically modernised UIs, particularly this one, lose a vast amount of character from the original. The OG UI felt truly Egyptian to me; this one feels like it's got some light Egyptian flavouring. That could just be the nostalgia talking, though. Finally, one thing is specific to me because I'm colour deficient, but I find the colour-based overlays pretty bad. The original game used pillars of varying heights (or stacks of coins for tax), and that was much, much easier for me to tell what was good and what was bad. I think for accessibility's sake they should definitely add an option to switch between the two types of overlay. I wrote more for complaints because they're easier to think about than praise, at least for me. I don't tend to notice when things are working right as quickly as I notice when they're not. Overall I think it's a great remake that manages to, not perfectly, but still quite well, capture the soul of the original. The discord has pretty active feedback and technical support forums, so hopefully my dislikes will be addressed one way or another. Some I didn't mention already have been.

I don't remember exactly what charms I had here but it was probably Unbreakable Strength, Shaman Stone, Quick Slash and Longnail - that's what I usually go with in pantheons. In my experience, though, bullying Hornet is less about charms and more about aggressive play and getting lucky that she doesn't move about too much. The Quick Slash is probably the most helpful as it lets you stagger her quickly.
